Enlighten me then, because I don't really get your argument here.

Living "FLESH." Do you know what Flesh means? Reading Comprehension sometimes...
I believe it is history. Yes, there is morality teaching in them as one would expect in the Bible. But, there is no reason not to believe everything that happened in the Bible didn't. It did!
It's a story of an actual event. We are relying on someone's interpretation of the event. It could have even be a local event and not a global event. In the Bible, Genesis 6:9 - 9:17 it says:
"And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female."
So, they put two of every species on the ark.
Like sharks, fish, jellyfish....
How on EARTH did fish, and jellyfish and sharks survive on the ark for 40 days and 40 nights?
It's what my bible says. And you know this because..... wait, because you made it up. This ISN'T what the Bible says. So are you saying the Bible is WRONG?
It was a flood.In the Bible, Genesis 6:9 - 9:17 it says:

It was a flood.
They didn't need an Ark.
KJV says that God sent only birds and ground dwelling critters to Noah, no fish.So your Bible is wrong then?
It means all the animals it was referring to, those that dwell on the dry ground (which actually includes birds). God also selected those animals for posterity i.e seed. Many went extinct in the flood waters. That's why Noah was able to care for those on the ark.Yeah, that's MY POINT.
Why would the Bible say ALL ANIMALS when not all animals needed the ark?

That's why the Bible has to be studied, not merely read. For example do you think that Eve merely "gave" the forbidden fruit to Adam, and he blithely gobbled it down? Study the account and see if another word might have been more suitable. Then ask yourself why the translator chose that word instead of a better one.Oh, "it means".... ah. I got it. When the Bible says something that is inconvenient, it actually means SOMETHING OTHER THAN WHAT IT SAYS.
Wow, amazing.
King Omri was on a mission to reunite Israel and Judah. Thats why he put both stories together. If that were the case, the dominant factions would have left the others out. They both are from different 'voices' and serve different goals.
That's why the Bible has to be studied, not merely read.
You have to study it to find out the inconsistencies and then you can make stuff up to justify those inconsistencies, right?
The Black Sea flood was very slow moving. The water rose so slowly that people had plenty of time to move families, livestock and tools to higher ground. It's a story of an actual event. This quote from the Book of Genesis is part of a familiar tale — the story of Noah's flood. Scholars have known for a long time that the Bible isn't the only place this story is found — in fact, the biblical story is similar to a much older Mesopotamian flood story in the epic of Gilgamesh. Scholars usually attribute things like the worldwide occurrence of flood stories to common human experiences and our love of repeating good stories, but recently scientists have started to uncover evidence that Noah's flood may have a basis in some rather astonishing events that took place around the Black Sea some 7,500 years ago.

Evidence for a Flood
Sediment layers suggest that 7,500 years ago Mediterranean water roared into the Black Seawww.smithsonianmag.com
Remember, at that time, the earth was not what we know it is now. These are accounts of events witnessed by people in many known at that time local areas. The event was apparently fairly widespread.
Noah's flood was slow moving as well. That's why the waters covered the hills to a depth of 22 feet. Most lived on the plains however and had no chance to outrun the flood. The Black Sea flood was very slow moving. Nope. I don't think we should change scripture. Let it stand as it is. Don't change Hosea or Isiah or Ezekiel. Don't take verses out of context. Don't give Revelation a new time line or change the audience. You have to study it to find out the inconsistencies and then you can make stuff up to justify those inconsistencies, right?
Canaan is hill country. Some guy claimed the flood water came in as ocean tides.Noah's flood was slow moving as well. That's why the waters covered the hills to a depth of 22 feet. Most lived on the plains however and had no chance to outrun the flood.
