There were no concessions made. THe Dems did not need a single GOP vote. Democrats wrote and passed this law and Obama signed it. Democrats are wholly responsible for it.

Did the Democrats need a single GOP vote to pass Obamacare? Yes or no.

No they didn't. But that doesn't change the fact that repubs got their hands all over the ACA before it was passed & signed into law by the president.

So how did Repubs "get their hands all over it"? Were Democrats, who didnt need a single GOP vote, just allow Republicans to sabotage the bill?
Did the Dems not read the bill, making them negligent?
Or did they not understand it, making them stupid?

To begin with, the aca was created from nothing more than a small potatoes state run program meant to plug small potatoes budget gaps in a small potatoes statewide budget. The sitting governor of that state was and still is a republican, ;by the name of Romney. You may have heard of him.

As for everything else posted here by me, that too is true and correct.

YUP you are right! Romneycare was first. And a GREAT experiment! Once again proving what our forefathers knew,i.e. that STATES and local control should be the places where things like Romneycare be tried. That's why the 50 states are also known as "laboratories"! Try it out. See if it works. See if other states
have success. But DON"T try to use a program that was done in a state with less then 6,794,422 people or just 2% of the USA population!
I'm all for states trying things like this BUT don't try to make a homogeneous effort one size fits all for 318 million people! It doesn't work!
