As for the military they are chronically short staffed and do not have the latest medication or equipment or procedures. Further they can not handle their assigned task of taking care of the active duty military and the active duty dependents. Further you would have a revolt in the medical profession if the Government was to pay regular nurses and doctors the pay the military gets. Moron.

QFT. I had to wait until the records building burned down with my dependents records in 71 before I could enlist. most of the doctors I saw, I'm allergic to even the smell of wool which is extremely bad news in the navy, did not impress me.
