November Jobs Report Out Now : + 321,0000

Papageorgio.....your broken record has a broken premise. Wages are up. Good paying jobs were a good portion of those created.

You suck.

I know it's because no one knows why Obama isn't just creating good paying jobs, why is he creating low wage jobs at all?
Why are mindless a-hole Pubs blocking an infrastructure jobs act, at a perfect and typical time- also blocking a training program for millions of tech jobs employers can't fill. Shove your hater dupe bs,

Speaking of mindless, how are you doing leftwing nut frankie

Seasonally adjusted?

Doubtful.

Btw, what law did Obama sign that created this wondrous news? Hmmmmm???

It was in that collection of Obama actions that people like you were quick to use to blame him for everything bad that has happened in the last 6 years.

NOW, you want to change your tune, adding more evidence to the fact that you are the worst of the Obama derangement syndrome sufferers on this forum.

What actions?

Be specific. If you can't you're nothing but a hack.

Maybe it was inaction, as in not keeboshing oil exploration and drilling as the right wing said Obama was going to do back in 2010. The boom in gas and oil drilling in No Dak, Texas and the Marcellus Shale up here in the northeast play a part in the bigger picture. Looks like the EPA didn't fuck things up like you fucking stupid pinheads warned.

Yes, but he isn't giving us high paying jobs, he keeps giving us minimum wage jobs, when he is creating all these new jobs, why can't he make them higher paying? Doesn't he realize that some families are working to and three jobs to make ends meet? Why is he not giving us jobs that a 40 hour work week would be sufficient?

Anyone with a 401(k) in 2008 when Bush shit all over the economy and the Dow went down to 7,900 should be very much back in the saddle today.

Damn that Obama, worst president ever.

From WaPo:

"""Some economists said that November’s data has put the American economy in its best position in years. The unemployment rate remains at 5.8 percent, a post-recession low point. So far this year, the United States has added some 2.65 million jobs, an average of about 241,000 a month. For 10 straight months now, the economy has added at least 200,000 jobs. That hasn’t happened since 1994.""

Goddamn that Obama!

And to think you fucking idiots ran out a month ago and voted against all this shit! Can you spell T-O-O-L?

Thanks for confirming that Obama is not a dictator. Presidents of free countries don't make private enterprise GIVE you a job.
But if Obama could force Walmart to pay a living wage, I'd be all for it.

A few figures to consider: That big headline number translated into just 4,000 more working Americans. There were, at the same time, another 115,000 on the unemployment line. That disparity can be explained through an expanding labor force, which grew 119,000, though the participation rate among that group remained at 62.8 percent, which is just off the year's worst level and around a 36-year low.

But wait, there's more: The jobs that were created skewed heavily toward lower quality. Full-time jobs declined by 150,000, while part-time positions increased by 77,000. Hold on Jobs report wasn t so great after all

The lefties are say Obama created the jobs, if he is the creator of said jobs, then he needs to create higher paying jobs. Now, if he didn't create the jobs, just say so.

A few figures to consider: That big headline number translated into just 4,000 more working Americans.
No, it doesn't Two different surveys, with different concepts and different time periods and vastly different survey size. The +321,000 is from a survey of 554,000 establishments asking how many were on the payroll for the pay period that contains the 12th. The +4,000 is total employment (not just payroll) from a survey of 60,000 households asking labor force status for the week that contains the 12th.
One does not "translate" to the other and they're not directly comparable. The establishment survey is more accurate.

There were, at the same time, another 115,000 on the unemployment line.
No, the number of people looking for work went up 115,000. "Unemployment line" implies receiving unemployment insurance benefits. That's unknown.
The jobs that were created skewed heavily toward lower quality. Full-time jobs declined by 150,000, while part-time positions increased by 77,000
Again, that's from the household survey, not the official jobs numbers (from the establishment survey, which doesn't distinguish full or part time) but more importantly, those involuntarily working part time dropped by 177,000

Families, for instance, also were under pressure: There were 110,000 fewer married men at work, while married women saw their ranks shrink by 59,000.

And there was an exceedingly huge disparity between expectations and results: ADP's report Wednesday showed just 208,000 new private sector positions, compared with the 314,000 in the BLS report. That's a miss of 51 percent, the worst showing for ADP's count since April 2011 even though the firm has touted its partnership since then with Moody's Analytics as a way to make its count more accurate.

Some Wall Street analysts had been scaling back their calls, and Goldman Sachs, which has had a good history of picking the number, was expecting gains of 220,000. Even the most buoyant economist on the street, Joe LaVorgna at Deutsche Bank, was looking for 250,000.

Finally, there was a rather startling numerical coincidence: That same 321,000 figure was repeated later in the report—as the total number of bar and restaurant jobs created over the past 12 months.
Yeah, some recovery, huh?

Liberals are always easily manipulated because they live in Dream Land.
Full-Time Jobs Down 150K Participation Rate Remains At 35 Year Lows No Job Market For Young Men Zero Hedge
First, the Household Survey was nowhere close to confirming the Establishment Survey data, suggesting jobs rose only by 4K from 147,283K to 147,287K, and furthermore, the breakdown was skewed fully in favor of Part-Time jobs, which rose by 77K while Full-Time jobs declined by 150K.
You cannot directly compare the two surveys, and the establishment survey is far more accurate with a much lower margin of error due to much larger sample size.

Nice. I heard it was going to be a good one. Must be a lie though, to help with the election, last month...

Must have something to do with a Republican Congress

One of the RW nutters actually did post that. They conveniently forget how many straight months of jobs gains. Has there been any month of Obama's administration when jobs were not added?

Yes, 16 months. February through December 2009, February 2010, June through September 2010.

Bureau of Labor Statistics Data

Unlike the previous administration, when we were losing 3/4 of a million jobs every single month.

Not every single month, just November 2008 and January 2009.

Biggest gain was in professional and business areas - NOT retail. Though retail was second. Meaning, its not just temp xmas jobs, which is what the nutters will claim.

I wonder how long before Obama can bring back all the jobs that were lost during the Bush fiasco?

He wasn't elected to get us back to the same level of prosperity pre 2008. He was elected to bring us more prosperity than the last guy had. He won't accomplish that goal, but that's because he's not very good in this area. He isn't as bad as the doom and gloomers claim, but he's not good. We still aren't at unemployment levels his team predicted we'd be at without any stimulus and that's quite telling.

Good news though, it looks like we're actually in a recovery.

One of the reasons for the constant jobs increases is that Obama has increased oil production in the US which means high paid jobs. I just heard on the news that it has been the equivalent of finding an entire Iraq.

And he didn't kill hundreds of thousands of innocent people to do it.

Thank You Mr. President.

So much for that "Green Economy." Mind you, I'm quite happy Obama reneged on that campaign promise. Instead of "drill baby drill" Obama hasn't stopped "frack baby frack." I'll leave it to you to figure out how that makes your side of the aisle better.

It's good when the government gets out of the way as much as possible (within reason of course).

Just in time for the upcoming GOP Congress to take all the credit.

In 2016, how can the GOP convince anyone that they need to go back to the bad old days of a GOP WH? You gotta be kidding me!

They could start by showing where the country benefitted greatly when President Obama was exactly opposite of Candidate Obama. They won't do this, but that would work.
