Actually I checked. The rate stayed the same and so did the labor participation rate, so that means nobody new got a job. Also, the number of working hours per week on average didn't change. (34.6/wk)

It does, but the basic optimism with this report is the sectors which showed strength. The increase was not only limited to seasonal hiring.but rather business and professional. I still say the real estate market is the key. Once it show a strong recovery, we will be on the way.
