It just talks about what some others planned to do at the protest which was commit violence. At the invitation of Trump who spoke about it for weeks. How were they going to stop the steal unless they breach the capitol.

If the Republicans in the Senate turn on Trump, it may be the end of the Republican party. That's because the riots, destruction and death are not the real outrage for many. They can and will excuse such things if the "cause" is righteous. Destroying property and assaulting people is acceptable in the name of protesting police brutality, but not in the name of protesting an apparently fraudulent election.
