NRA ad sending leftists into a tizzy

The nutters can't pretend the NRA is anything more than the lobbyist for the gun manufacturers.

No...it is a lobby group for the 2nd Amendment.

They were. What was their last piece of pro 2nd legislation? Sure the commercials are a nice bit of red meat to toss to the old members that left, but seriously, what's the last bill they lobbied for on he hill?

Here's the quote you must have forgotten .

So, as we set out this year to defeat the divisive forces that would take freedom away, I want to say those fighting words for everyone within the sound of my voice to hear and to heed, and especially for you, Mr. Gore: 'From my cold, dead hands!'[6]

— Charlton Heston, May 20, 2000
Manbearpig is a rotten piece of shit that has no credibility and lives in hypocrisy of, why don't you get a bobble head of Al gore and shove it up your ass since like him so much.

By the way quit falling down the well

You didn't address the issue . You two faced righty liars won't admit that the pro gun crowd mantra is that u need a gun to rise up against the government.

And when is that supposed to be done? Do you have any knowledge of history? How about when the government is sending 12 million innocent men, women and children to gas chambers....or when the government is murdering 25 million people in Russia, 70 million in China, the ethnic cleansing in the Balkans.....the mass murders in Mexico.....

You guys are history deniers........

They are working on Concealed carry reciprocity, and allowing Americans to use supressors for hearing protection, and they have been supporting the court fights in California, and New Jersey.....as well as other cases around the country, they also joined with the ACLU to fight stripping Americans of their Rights under obama when he tried to pull them for insomnia....

Oh yeah....they also joined the fight against California democrats who are releasing violent gun offenders.....

California Democrats hate the gun, not the gunman – Orange County Register

Now that Democrats have supermajorities in the California state Legislature, they’ve rolled into Sacramento with a zest for lowering the state’s prison population and have interpreted St. Augustine’s words of wisdom to mean, “Hate the gun, not the gunman.”

I say this because, once they finally took a break from preaching about the benefits of stricter gun control, the state Senate voted to loosen sentencing guidelines for criminals convicted of gun crimes.

Currently, California law requires anyone who uses a gun while committing a felony to have their sentence increased by 10 years or more in prison — on top of the normal criminal penalty. If enacted, Senate Bill 620 would eliminate that mandate.

The bill, which passed on a 22-14 party-line vote, with support only from Democrats, now heads to the state Assembly for consideration.

Republicans and the National Rifle Association have vowed to campaign against it.

Why have Democrats suddenly developed a soft spot for criminals convicted of gun crimes? The bill’s author, state Sen. Steve Bradford, D-Gardena, says that he was motivated to write the bill after a 17-year-old riding in a car involved in a drive-by shooting was sentenced to 25 years in prison, even though he claims that he wasn’t the one who pulled the trigger.

and for all those anti-gunners who want to know where criminals get guns....well...this law lowers the prison time for those who give guns to criminals.....

Why is that?

Prop. 57, for example, very deceptively and fundamentally changed the definition of what constitutes a “non-violent” offense.

Now criminals convicted of the following crimes are eligible to be released from prison early: rape by intoxication, rape of an unconscious person, human trafficking involving sex acts with minors, drive-by shooting, assault with a deadly weapon, taking a hostage, domestic violence involving trauma,

supplying a firearm to a gang member,

lewd acts upon a child, hate crime causing physical injury, failing to register as a sex offender, arson causing great bodily injury,

felon obtaining a firearm,

discharging a firearm on school grounds

and false imprisonment of an elder. Just to name a few.

"All to make them march, make them protest, make them scream racism and sexism and xenophobia and homophobia. To smash windows, burn cars, shut down interstates and airports, bully and terrorize the law-abiding — until the only option left is for the police to do their jobs and stop the madness."

RW garbage propaganda. Millions of Dems have peacefully protested for months, but al the dupes know is the horrible violence of of a few Antifa, anarchists and gangsta wannabees at BLM protests last year lol. Great job, bs hate liars- the whole RW. Poor America.

Except for the ones who haven't...the ones rioting and beating conservatives and republicans, the ones shooting and killing police officers, and the one who tried to murder Trump, and then the bernie supporter who tried to murder a whole baseball team of Repbulicans.

as an avid hunter and gun owner I don't trust the nra....I trust myself way over them.

Then you are a fool.....the 4th Circuit and the 9th circuit courts of appeals are gutting the 2nd Amendment...and your hunting rifle is on their list too......

I like background checks...common sense. plain common sense. The second amendment is and always has been safe. It's in the constitution. That hasn't changed since my first fun 70 some years ago.

Background check don't stop criminals or mass shooters and in order for universal background checks to work you have to have universal gun ownership registration.....which is the real goal....the anti-gunners know they have to record who has the guns so that down the road they can ban and confiscate them.........just as they did in Britain, Australia and Germany....

Fine, but that's not their job or what they sell in their mission statement. 2nd amendment rights not criminal law. All the NRA is now is cool black and white commercials and free pocket knives made in China. Cool commercial but I still won't send my $$. To many better places that are protecting my 2nd rights to send it to.

A progressive socialist government does not have our interests in mind...
If you're a millionaire or above- Your GOP lords and masters and brainwashers...
it does not take a village
Our unfair GOP society is a gd mess dupe. See sig first paragraph. A social democrat US would just mean fair pay, taxes, and health care (single payer), cheap college, and guns for everyone!!

no...that would eventually lead to the mass graves of the famous socialists states....Germany, Russia, China...Cambodia, Cuba...

I don't believe in a private or public organization to help protect my gun rights.....they are in the constitution.....dummies

Tell that to the democrats politicians making laws that make the Constitution and the Bill of Rights little more than pieces of paper...

You must have also missed the part where they are pushing National, concealed carry reciprocity, and allowing Americans to buy sound suppressors for their hearing protection.....and fighting to keep gun criminals in jail helps law abiding Americans keep our guns.....

naive are those who believe their second amendment rights aren't safe. I've been hearing these fear mongering lies since I was little...pure bs. My guns are safe. Always have been.

The 9th And the 4th Circuit court of appeals as well as the two Supreme Court justices obama appointed are trying to take away those Rights......try to keep up...

It's so sad and pathetic to see the NRA try to look tough. They are, by their own definition, PUSSIES that need to lick guns to feel safe. 60 million school children go to school every day and live their lives and don't ever think of guns. But the 'tough' nra snowflakes not only cling to their metal security blankets they loooove to threaten other people.

Get to it cupcakes. You like to pretend it's you against the world and you are the great savior of....whatever. Get to it. We the normals of the population of America are sorry for you but also laughing at you. You create these fake monsters in your heads because you NEED a dragon to slay, or an enemy to vanquish, or a Soviet Union that left you longing for a great Satan.

So much so that you've turned on your own country. You aren't Americans, everyone else is. You are the minority of angries that can't figure out why you don't belong to mainstream America anymore. Perhaps if you weren't so angry you'd stop having such stress. Join us back in reality. Nobody is 'taking the country away' or 'waging a war on Kristians, or Christmas, or whatever other nonsense your dear leaders come up with today to make you mad.

Relax. How about a Fresca!

Moron.....Americans use guns 1,500,000 times a year to stop violent criminal attack...according to bill clinton and barak obama........without the NRA and the 2nd AMendment Foundation those people would have been disarmed decades ago....

And, asswipe......we went from 200 million guns in the 1990s to close to 600 million guns in 2017...and the biggest growth areas for those guns are women and minorities.....try to keep up...

Advertising civil war.
That's interesting.

They know they make a bundle supplying both sides with guns.

Sent from my iPad using USMessageBoard.com

The NRA ?? If that's who you mean, How would they make a bundle? Selling guns? They don't sell guns!! Just proves you don't know a damn thing that you post about just like all the other lying liberals.

Since 2005, the gun industry and its corporate allies have given between $20 million and $52.6 million to it through the NRA Ring of Freedom sponsor program. Donors include firearm companies like Midway USA, Springfield Armory Inc, Pierce Bullet Seal Target Systems, and Beretta USA Corporation. Other supporters from the gun industry include Cabala’s, Sturm Rugar & Co, and Smith & Wesson.

The NRA also made $20.9 million — about 10 per cent of its revenue — from selling advertising to industry companies marketing products in its many publications in 2010, according to the IRS Form 990.

Additionally, some companies donate portions of sales directly to the NRA. Crimson Trace, which makes laser sights, donates 10 per cent of each sale to the NRA. Taurus buys an NRA membership for everyone who buys one of their guns. Sturm Rugar gives $1 to the NRA for each gun sold, which amounts to millions. The NRA’s revenues are intrinsically linked to the success of the gun business.

Dipshit.....here is the truth...

Newsflash to CNN viewers (but not to gun owners): The NRA's political cash comes from individual donors | Buckeye Firearms Association

After first noting that corporations do donate millions to the NRA, and specifying the majority of these donations fund NRA initiatives like member newsletters, sporting events and gun safety education and training programs, the article goes on to explain that NONE of this money is used to support legislators. That's because "companies are barred from donating to the NRA’s political action committee, which the agency uses to fill campaign coffers, run ads and send out mailers for and against candidates."

So where does the money that is donated to law-makers come from? CNN (no doubt begrudingly) admiys it comes from the very people who vote to elect them.

From the article:

A CNNMoney analysis of federal campaign finance records shows that much of this money comes from everyday Americans. And these contributions, which the NRA uses to keep pro-gun lawmakers in office, are on the rise.

...

Since 2005, the NRA Political Victory Fund has received nearly $85 million in contributions from individual donors. After the 2012 Sandy Hook shooting, donations to this political action committee surged as gun owners worried that their rights to buy and own guns were at risk.

...

Donations in the 2014 election cycle were up by more than 50% compared to the prior two years, and nearly doubled from a decade ago.

"Americans look to the NRA to defend their constitutional right to self protection," NRA spokesperson Jennifer Baker told CNNMoney. "When gun control advocates ramp up their efforts to pass gun control people voice their opposition by donating to the NRA."

Contributions came from nearly 30,000 donors, with around 90% of donations made by people who gave less than $200 in a single year. According to the NRA, the average donation is around $35.

The report quotes Sarah Bryner, research director at the Center for Responsive Politics, as noting that this level of broad grassroots support is "highly unusual for a special interest group, demonstrating its wide reaching support."

Among the top donors cited in the article are a computer programmer from Houston, a commercial airline pilot from Texas, a retired publisher from Florida, a pharmacist from texas, a ranch manager from Wyoming, and retired metallurgist from Ohio. The top ten donors all gave more than Alan Mossberg, the former CEO of the oldest family-owned gunmaker in the country.

The article notes that while the majority of donations to its PAC, go to support Republican candidates, "there are a few Democrats in the mix as well, including The Blue Dog PAC for conservative Democrats."

Unlike Michael Bloomberg's multitude of astroturf anti-gun groups, small donations are what fuel the NRA's Political Victory Fund and donations to pro-gun rights legislators. This is a truly grassroots movement that speaks not for the gun industry, but for freedom-loving Americans all over the country.

What do gun supporters and people that support open immigration have in common? Immigration/Gun control freaks people out. We are treading in the twilight zone here. But not really, people abusing something needs to be addressed and controlled , as a open democracy we demand immigration AND Gun control because BOTH are getting out of control. Ironic but true. And there is a connection to both.

How are guns getting out of control...?

All of the stats show the opposite...

We went from 200 million guns in private hands in the 1990s and 4.7 million people carrying guns for self defense in 1997...to close to 400-600 million guns in private hands and over 15.7 million people carrying guns for self defense in 2017...guess what happened...

-- gun murder down 49%
--gun crime down 75%
--violent crime down 72%

Gun Homicide Rate Down 49% Since 1993 Peak; Public Unaware

Compared with 1993, the peak of U.S. gun homicides, the firearm homicide rate was 49% lower in 2010, and there were fewer deaths, even though the nation’s population grew. The victimization rate for other violent crimes with a firearm—assaults, robberies and sex crimes—was 75% lower in 2011 than in 1993. Violent non-fatal crime victimization overall (with or without a firearm) also is down markedly (72%) over two decades.

What makes you think he is a progressive?
Total nutjobs, Antifa anarchist punks, and gangsta wannabees hiding at non-violent protests. All well know progressives by ignorant hater dupes...

That would be the alternative side. I'm 100% against alternative no matter which side.

btw; By labeling, you're proving yourself an ignorant hater dupe.
BS. Watch RW propaganda some time lol. They have repeated about 5 antifa/anarchists/gangsta incidents a million times. And they never mention the many gigantic progressive protests with no violence whatsoever. A hateful disgrace. Like the NRA.
The NRA are absolutely harmless...
Every time a nutjob or criminal buys a gun, they do harm.

And 1,500,000 times a year normal, law abiding Americans use guns to stop democrats and criminals from committing violent crime.....according to bill clinton and barak obama....

naive are those who believe their second amendment rights aren't safe. I've been hearing these fear mongering lies since I was little...pure bs. My guns are safe. Always have been.
What does the federal government keep on trying to press more frivolous gun laws and gun registration?
ACTUALLY, the feds only dare try and end background check loopholes...
No such thing as a gun show loophole, only fucking morons believe such things
Ok, the private seller loophole, often at gun shows. lol

private sellers without a federal license don’t have to meet the same requirement. Though this exception is often referred to as the "gun show loophole," it actually applies more broadly to unlicensed individuals, whether they are selling at a gun show or somewhere else. (Some states have implemented their own background check requirement beyond federal law.)
PolitiFact Sheet: 3 things to know about the 'gun show loophole'

And this is because they are selling their private property...which is not a crime....and the only reason gun grabbers care is that they want universal background checks....to get them to universal gun registration......which they need down the road when they get the politcal power to ban and confiscate categories of guns or guns in general....that is the only reason they want universal background checks...since the anti-gun leadership knows that background checks do not stop criminals or mass shooters....

NAR_Video.png

Scene of scary THEM that can only be dealt with through violence.

In less than a minute, The NRA paints an America irrevocably divided between “we” and “they.” An America where the media has fallen into their hands. Where the schools are instruments of their lies. Where every action is designed to threaten “the law abiding.” Where the only way “to save our country” is strike back with a “clenched fist.”

How many of those Republican Congressmen who were calling for a reduction in rhetoric following the ballfield shooting, will step forward to condemn this video that uses that incident to call for civil war on Americans?

The NRA declares war on America: 'the only way we save our country ... is with the clenched fist'

Right in the NRA ad is the Leftist meme of "THIS IS WAR".. Well, your side DECLARED the war -- didn't they?

Yeah....let's not forget...

upload_2017-6-30_6-9-7.png

It seems this is the line that has the left all upset. Fight this violence of lies with the clenched fist of truth. Fight lies with truth my god what a radical and dangerous idea. Sheesh.

That is because the Truth burns a left winger the way a cross or holy water burns a vampire....
