NY Teens Attack 67 Year Old with Hammer

"We need to bring these superpredators to heel"
Maybe we need to hold the parents responsible. They know they raised a monster.

But you have to have a scared straight program they can send young troubled kids. If the parent has lost control, they need to be able to send them to a boot camp that will fix them.

A parent should be able to tell the community they need help.

The democrat attitude toward a heinous crime like this shows exactly where their "no bail, let all the criminals out" absolutely idiotic, self-destructive nonsense comes from. Every state will obviously have different standards of sentencing for crimes of this nature, but it seems clear that such standards need to be enforced in full and strengthened where necessary if we are to stem the tide of violence decimating our major cities. Only a brainless fool would look at the state of things and not realize that democrat-pushed permissiveness is making life unsafe for law-abiding citizens (and for law enforcement personnel).

How old are these "teen." If they're over 12, THEY are 100% responsible for their thug behavior

Even better.
I’m not talking about he said she said date rape. I’m talking about someone who violently rapes a stranger or pedophile. when it’s a slam dunk case they did it, kill them.

So if someone breaks in your house and knocks you out, ties you up and robs the place. Is that a death sentence?

Im not making excuses for burglars or armed robbers. I’m just wondering if you think we now go too light on this too.

What if someone kills someone in a fist fight? Do the circumstances matter? You seem to want to treat assault and attempted murder as harshly as murder.

No I’m not. How long would you put these young men in prison? Or would you execute them? If you can’t answer those two questions, fuck off. Now is your chance to prove you will answer a reasonable question. Don’t be a coward.
You haven't. If anyone is a Coward it's you.

These “tough on crime” policies reflect a fundamental misunderstanding of violence. They are grounded in the belief that lengthy incarceration is an effective deterrent or containment strategy for violence, despite years of evidence to the contrary, and a desire for retribution. In particular, arguments that extreme sentences are needed to protect the public assume that violence is a static characteristic in people, and that they are incapable of change. But research consistently shows people convicted of violent offenses are not inherently violent. Rather, violence is a complex phenomenon that is influenced by a range of factors, some of which diminish with time (such as youth), and others that can be mediated with interventions other than incarceration. And even when crimes warrant severe punishment, a balance must be struck between the desire for vengeance, the appropriate use of public resources, and the rights of the convicted person.

Here ^^^^^^^ we see the idiotic, self-destructive democrat attitude toward crime, which is really just another manifestation of the general democrat rejection of any kind of personal responsibility on any level. Turn on your local news station to see how well it's playing out in real life.
