NYT reports on 4 dozen questions Mueller wants Trump to answer

We are approaching the anniversary of when Mueller was appointed to investigate the Trump administration and.....more specifically......Trump himself.

The 47 questions revealed by the sources to the NYT are just "teasers" since we all know that the answer to any of those individual questions, prompt a series of follow ups.

It is rather interesting that the questions concentrate more on the obstruction of justice allegations, and to a lesser extent the collusion-related ones......This may be because of the pending trial on Paul Manafort whose alleged crimes may, once adjudicated, confirm collusion with Russia and, if collusion is tainted with conspiracy, then the crimes are much more severe.

For now, the questions on obstruction of justice by Trump himself should be very worrisome for the president, since even the most partisan of voter should believe that NO president is above the law and should never interfere with an investigation unless there is something to be hidden from public scrutiny.

With 6 months to go before the midterm elections, the pressure increases on elected officials to address and settle these political issues.

I think this is good for The Donald. It will give him a chance to go over the questions (and his answers) with his lawyers, so they can prepare him for a personal interview, should that ever occur. Maybe this can mitigate his problem with Blitherer's Disease.

Without the use of the phrase, "it's a vast left wing conspiracy" the posts above, and those which preceded this thread have suggested the entire Mueller Investigation is a "witch hunt".

IMO, the evidence is clear that Russia engaged in cyber warfare against the US, and democracy. That any US citizen even suspected this before the election and not report this effort by Russia to Trump during the nomination period or during the transition is very hard to believe.

Thus, it is imperative that Trump answer questions under oath. This is a much more important issue, than if a President had "sex with that women" or sex with a porn star. However, the Stormy Daniels case is relevant as to campaign finance laws and if a threat to her can be substantiated. Bribery and criminal threats are high crimes, not misdemeanors. Obstructing this investigation maybe very far reaching, and if I were Nunes, et al, members of the Republican Caucus in The Congress, I too would lawyer up.
