This has given everyone a lift. Probably the most iconic band of the 90s.
The first album was the number one album of the era but they could not maintain that standard.
Still they are better than any band these days.
The kings of rock until they disappeared up their own arses.

I remember they dumped a beer and spit on the stage in the U.S during some music awards in the 1990s. I can see the face of the commentator but I forget who said "ohhhh, he dumped a beer". Mocking their weaksauce rebellious attitude.

A couple of decent songs. A poor mans Beatles I suppose.

Indeed one of the better bands to come out of the 90s.

What I liked most about the bavd is that they actually gave a shit.
When they released a single it was more like a 4 track EP.
Gnuinely interesting music with the odd cover thron in.
At the time most bands would release the single with a couple of re mixes of the single to fill it out.
Singles were a rip off.

I never heard of this group.

I always bought Albums back in the day, still have them but these days since technology moved on i don't have anything to play them on, keep meaning to get a turntable, another good band to come out of that era were the Charlatans and another one was supergrass.

It was a great time for music. The best since punk.
I had a liking for the Stone Roses. They couldnt get on either.

lot of good stuff came out of Manchester in those days, i didn't like all of it and was never keen on most punk music, at heart i am old school AC/DC Led Zeppelin etc, guys who could actually play instruments.
Mate, Those bands were shit. Punk killed it for them.
