Gun control under the US constituiton will never work. Get the constitution amended or you'll never get results. The ONLY working model for curtailing gun violence are bans on firearms.

We know for a fact thatgun control works, because it works in 20 other countries. But as long as Congress back those who make money out of gun sales, then it probably can't work.
The police will always be working with one hand tied behind their backs. There is just too much money to be made from arming gangs.
And yet we also know that 90% of Americans would oppose a change to the constitution, and perhaps with good reason.

We do not know that gun control works in other countries. Actually the evidence is the opposite. Rates of crime tend to go up in countries that implement gun control, not down.
