This new Government program and the $200 million will make absolutely no difference.

What needs to change in America to help Black folks goes directly counter to Obama's attitude toward entitlements.

What we need is to get off the pipes.

Look at the huge problems within the black community and you will understand that something needs to be done. Our cities are war zones as they're killing each other...50% of all murders are committed by blacks and 90% of that is black on black.

Educational and a program to strengthen the family does make sense.

End the welfare state and you'll fix the problem.

$200 million? We are taking away a black person's will to work with all this free stuff. Outrageous. A few years ago white bankers were in trouble and only got $800 billion from the gubermint, no strings attached.

And Obama and his administration failed to prosecute any of the criminals involved.

Just throwing money at a situation doesn't work. All Obama has proven, is we throw money at problems and nothing changes. If putting money into these programs helps, I'm all for it, however, it changes nothing.

Tough to spend money if it doesn't yield results.

The bankers got 800 billion thrown at them by the government. When people protested in occupy wall street, republicans came out in force against the protesters. When some blacks get a crummy 200 million, out come the hatchets, knives, and free stuff remarks from the republican side. Maybe not you, but the op. Obama didn't prosecute wall street? Wall street funded candidate Obama. A progressive or socialist he's not, that's for sure.

Sadly, this move won't bring anyone out of poverty and will just serve to continue the disturbing trend.

It won't bring anyone out of poverty, but it does violate the 14th Amendment and as such mesh with the president's goal to end civil rights.

By making skin color the major factor, Obama moves forward with the goal of creating a society where some are denied privilege due to color. Obama is working hard to deny basic rights and protections to white people.

I opposed TARP and Obama's Porkulus - LOUDLY.

But the claim that $800 billion was given to banks is a flat out lie. Jason is not sentient, so such concepts have no meaning to him. He is an automaton spewing leftist hating points.

Loans were made to banks - which I state again that I bitterly oppose - bailing out bad investments perverts the market and destroys needed corrections.

But these were loans of which every penny was repaid, and accounted for less than 10% of TARP. MOST of TARP went to bailing out homeowners. That's right, those people who bought million dollar homes on a $40K salary found TARP subsidizing them. Those who bought what they could afford got fucked in the ass.

And of course, the single LARGEST recipient was General Motors, to bail out the United Auto Workers union.
