The screening for just 10,000 could just bring in only Christians. Not ideal but it works.
Syria had 1.8 million Christians and a lot of them had to flee, so it should be easy to vet them.

This is the problem. We have a small but vocal segment of Republicans who believe that1.3 billion Muslims are evil. This is what we saw in the 30's against Jews .
Attention Wildman - not every Muslim is evil. Not every Jew is evil. Not every black is evil. Not every Mexican is evil. These are diverse groups that include both radicals and moderates. You've been lied to by a political party that uses fear to get elected.
The goal of ISIS is to drive moderate Muslims away from the West so that it is impossible to create stable, modern Western-friendly governments in the West (a la Turkey).
ISIS wants all Muslims to read what you are saying, and to use what you are saying as a reason to conclude that Western military intervention cannot be trusted, and that any government the West helps build in Syria / Iraq cannot be trusted. ISIS wants moderate Muslims to think the West hates them, and must therefore be banished 100% from the region. [You are helping them, and ensuring that we cannot create stable governments in the region. But you don't fucking get it. Turkey is over 90% Muslim and they are a stable, Western-friendly country.
