Obama says GOP incitement on Syria refugees 'needs to stop'

I got this pic at ar15.com Don't know if it's a dupe. But this is a supposed refugee

Its bullshit?

Orginal Story - Some great Aussies live on Christmas Island. Meet a dead-set patriot, Shaz with the telephoto lens.

One way Syrian refugees can prove they are Christians is to attack the "first gay person they see" that way they can get "Christian Cred"

Did he say anything about "Mass murders by terrorists need to stop"?

Nope. Nor did he say anything about the abuse of children by adults who are tasked with caring for them. Nothing about gang rapes by bikers. Nary a word about animal cruelty by dog fighting rings, either. But for those of us who are adults, we don't need to hear Obama say those things. Because we know how to do something called staying on the fucking subject.

Fuck Obama, we know whose side he's on and it ain't America's.
This is the guy who doesnt want America to win.
It seems that dissent is the highest form of patriotism only exists when a Republican is president.

Obama says GOP incitement on Syria refugees 'needs to stop'

MANILA, Philippines (AP) — President Barack Obama lashed out Wednesday at Republicans who insist on barring Syrian refugees from entering the U.S., deeming their words offensive and insisting "it needs to stop."

"Apparently they're scared of widows and orphans coming into the United States of America," Obama said.
Mocking GOP leaders for thinking they're tough, Obama said overblown rhetoric from Republicans could be a potent recruitment tool for the Islamic State group. He insisted the U.S. process for screening refugees for possible entry into the U.S. is rigorous and said the U.S. doesn't make good decisions "based on hysteria" or exaggerated risk.

"We are not well served when in response to a terrorist attack we descend into fear and panic," the president said.

Obama's comments during a meeting with Philippine President Benigno Aquino marked his harshest condemnation yet of Republicans' response to the Paris attacks blamed on IS that killed 129 people last week. Republicans in Congress and on the 2016 presidential trail have urged an immediate closure of America's borders to Syrian refugees, but the Obama administration has shown no sign of backing off its plans to bring an additional 10,000 Syrians fleeing civil war into the U.S.

i don't know..some of them could be isis, but i'd let in woman and kids,

Anyone could be ISIS - either now or later.

Lets not take men over 14. Everyone else is ok with me.

Matthew,

The screening for just 10,000 could just bring in only Christians. Not ideal but it works.

Syria had 1.8 million Christians and a lot of them had to flee, so it should be easy to vet them.
1.8 m Christians under Asaad???? No wonder obama wants him out

Widows and orphans who have been brainwashed by Isis propaganda can be very dangerous. They don't have living family to motivate them not to be a suicide bomber.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with waiting until we can vett refugees before they are eligible to enter the country. Especially since they aren't in Syria facing any real danger, most are in Europe away from fighting at the moment.

Obama is a typical far left liberal who does not want freedom of speech.
If we let in woman and their kids-
What would stop their future generations from becoming radicalized like the French did?

I got an idea, how about we take one for every one taken by Russia, China, the UAE and Saudis?

I still would not. The Russians Chinese UAE and Saudi's will brutally kill those they suspected of plotting a terrorists act. They have more leeway on how to deal with them than we do!!

fuck him.., chop off their heads as they have done to Christians.

This is the problem. We have a small but vocal segment of Republicans who believe that1.3 billion Muslims are evil. This is what we saw in the 30's against Jews .

Attention Wildman - not every Muslim is evil. Not every Jew is evil. Not every black is evil. Not every Mexican is evil. These are diverse groups that include both radicals and moderates. You've been lied to by a political party that uses fear to get elected.

The goal of ISIS is to drive moderate Muslims away from the West so that it is impossible to create stable, modern Western-friendly governments in the West (a la Turkey).

ISIS wants all Muslims to read what you are saying, and to use what you are saying as a reason to conclude that Western military intervention cannot be trusted, and that any government the West helps build in Syria / Iraq cannot be trusted. ISIS wants moderate Muslims to think the West hates them, and must therefore be banished 100% from the region. [You are helping them, and ensuring that we cannot create stable governments in the region. But you don't fucking get it. Turkey is over 90% Muslim and they are a stable, Western-friendly country. This is our goal in Syria and Iraq, but the Republicans and ISIS are going to make it impossible because they both need this civilizational war for political gain]

You and the Republican Party are giving power to the narrative of ISIS, and you are ensuring that we will never have a longterm political solution WHICH IS THE ONLY THING that will allow us to hold the military gains.

We can do another surge where we go door-to-door and clear out resistance fighters in the region, but we need to hold those territories by leaving behind stable governments capable of defending themselves against radicals. If they think that the West hates all Muslims, than they will never allow us to help in the creation of stable moderate governments. They will move closer to ISIS and give all power to ISIS. This means we will have to occupy the entire Middle East for the rest of time. This will bankrupt our children.

Just Republicans?
There are top Dems who are against it also.
They are the ones who are being smart about this.
