Obama Suffers 12th Unanimous Defeat at Supreme Court

He's a central planner, cut from the same bolt as Wilson, FDR and LBJ. They have no need for the rule of law cuz you see, they know what's best for everyone else. True story.

"By the end of his term, 138 Reagan administration officials had been convicted, had been indicted, or had been the subject of official investigations for official misconduct and/or criminal violations. In terms of number of officials involved, the record of his administration was the worst ever."

Reagan's was the most corrupt administration in the lifetime of most Americans

And this has what to do with Obama, Wilson, FDR and LBJ being from the same central planner's school of government?

Not a damn thing...but thanks for playing. :cuckoo:

BUT RONNIE WAS A 'CONSTITUTIONALISTS' GUY RIGHT?

No, he was not. He talked a good Constitutional game but in reality, I played politics like the rest of them. One need only look at the gun bans he implemented for evidence of that.

Oh I thought you just wanted to list 'true stories'

Oh unless there is an UNCONDITIONAL right, you can't be a constitutionalists?

Obamacare is a tax. Obama told the American people he wasn't going to raise their taxes. Obama lies and you defend it. Y'all can't see how corrupt you are.

The hell it is, hater dupe. The PENALTY for not signing up is a tax, duh:cuckoo:

That's Ok guys, the next president (a Republican) will take the Executive Orders Obama used to extend the sign up dates for the ACA, write it VERBATIM and change the date to 2050. Of course nobody on the left will complain, because the next President will use the same order.

He will then issue another Executive Order telling the IRS there will be NO tax for not signing up, and tell them not to collect any more taxes concerning the ACA.

Obama established the precedent and the next President will only follow it.

No problem, right?

You 'think' a GOPer will become Prez again anytime soon? lol

Executive Action: It’s Only a Problem When President Obama Does It

The Boston Globe wrote that Bush had assumed the right to disobey more than 750 laws since he took office, “…declaring that he (Bush) has the power to set aside the laws when they conflict with his legal interpretation of the Constitution. The federal government is instructed to follow the statements when it enforces the laws.”

President Bush challenged 1,100 provisions of the law in his signing statements, which is more than all of his previous presidents combined. 78% of Bush’s signing statements raised constitutional objections compared to 18% for President Clinton, 47% for George H.W. Bush and 34% for Ronald Reagan.

Reagan's greatest accomplishment, and the one that generates the most incoherent rage in the left, is this:

After the utter failure of the Carter Administration, Reagan said it was okay to be proud to be an American.

The left has never forgiven him for this. Nor will they. EVER.

Ooooo..."hater, dupe".... Harvard?

Obama never told us there was a penalty and a tax for not signing up. The fact is you're a useful idiot who will eat anything as long as Obama is serving it. You're the problem. Ignorant tool.

Iben, your opinion is not fact. Got a link, ignorant tool?

We will see what SCOTUS says. It likes the law.

Obama is an Un-Constitutional POTUS who would have been impeached if he were white.

I'm thrilled it was unanimous.

The libs will just blame the Republicans for forcing Obama to violate the COTUS

Of course we do. Republicans deliberately creating power vacuums in government forces someone to do something to repair the sabotage. Saying the government does not work is one thing but making sure it does not work is another.

The only sabotage lately has been the Obama administration's consistent abuse of power, abuse of vets at the VA by rewarding their VA doofuses-for-brains administrators, and abuse of the American People by abusing our very fair-to-the-average-person Constitution as written by some very wise American men in the 1770s, God bless their dear souls.

Yeah, but those founding fathers (whoops, sexist term there) are all dead now.

Benghazi type dead.

So.....what difference does it make?

They sabotage the process at every step by laying around like bloated beached whales stinking up the place for everyone.

The founders would have despised the people who worship their memory the most. These were men of reason who would be horrified at the thought that they would be the last word in America politics forever or that their thoughts are being filtered through so many empty inflexible minds to become an excuse for such vile political strife in America.

You mean the same way senate Democrats did in 2007 to prevent President Bush from making recess appointments? Do you also happen to remember who was the Senate Majority leader at the time leading that effort ? Hint it's the same one bitching and moaning about this Supreme Court ruling.

The constitutional lawyer, scholar and teacher seems to have a hard time following the document. And these are not split decisions even the rapid liberal don't support his actions. We told you people but did you listen? Hell yeah, everyone knew what he was doing was illegal only the left wing defended it, pitiful

Obama Suffers 12th Unanimous Defeat at Supreme Court | National Review Online

President Obama’s team suffered their twelfth unanimous defeat at the Supreme Court in the legal challenge to the so-called recess appointments made when Congress was not actually in recess, a string of defeats that only represents “the tip of the iceberg,” according to Senator Mike Lee (R., Utah).

“Not every case in which the president has exceeded his authority has made it all the way to the Supreme Court,” Lee, a former law clerk to Justice Samuel Alito, told National Review Online. “The fact that his track record is as bad as it is in the Supreme Court . . . is yet another indication of the fact that we’ve got a president who is playing fast and loose with the Constitution.”

No surprise. This is why Bush had to win 2000 and 2004. They needed to put cronies Alito and Roberts on the bench so that corporations matter more than voters. Of course a Democratic president is getting shot down left and right by those Citizens United SCOTUS'

Sorry you are parroting the wrong talking point. You do understand the term unanimous? You do know that two of the SC justices are Obama appointees?

May I ask how you came about such a conclusion? Maybe the founders really did believe what they were writing was the better form of government. Maybe they were all narisitic and really did think that what they wrote would last forever. It served us pretty damn well until the democrats decided they didn't like what it actually said.

It's served us OK but man did we have to tweak it right from the start to avoid constant civil war, a monied elite monarchy or foreign domination.
