Obama won't fight for us

ISIS is a symptom of outrage.

It's root cause is the same root cause that makes you want to "wipe them off the map".

ISIS is a symptom of Radical Islam, not "outrage." It is a symptom of a doctrine of subjugation, not "outrage." It is a symptom of a twisted desire for regional, if not global, domination. Not "outrage."

And yes, when I see them slitting throats, burning and drowning people alive, that kinda makes me want to "wipe them off the map."

ISIS didn't kill those four Marines.

Then what did? A disgruntled employee? A distraught lover? Human nature? Abdulazeez's machine gun?

ISIS inspired him to kill, therefore therefore that makes them complicit in their deaths.

Where are you getting this information about what "inspired" him to kill?

Can you speak to the dead?

Naw. Ouija boards are kinda hard to find nowadays. In all seriousness, you can't dismiss this as coincidence, or "rhetoric," it's there in plain words.

I think that if you were to ask anyone who ran away from home to join ISIS, they would give you a similar answer about the US.

"Radical Islam" is not the cause, either. It's just the pathway. Most of the people joining ISIS, they don't hate the US because "God" told them to, they hate the US because we killed someone they know. The whole religious aspect is much less important.

Who's twitter account is that supposed to be?

And why should I be concerned about that? And how would that justify what they're doing?

We aren't the ones committing unspeakable acts of barbarity against our enemies. We aren't roving the streets looking for any Christian or gay person we can find to kill on sight.

What?

Why are all of these killers on some watch list? I find it interesting that most of these terrorists are on a watch list when they pull the trigger.

I don't care if you're "concerned" about it, nor did I say anything about it justifying anything. This isn't about moral equivalency.

What?

Try to zoom out. Think about it as if you were reading about it in a history book.

This is not about religion, this is about madmen using religion to justify grabbing personal power, and using fear, anger and shame as recruitment strategies.

Let's Godwin the argument, and compare ISIS to the Nazi party. In this rare case, it's actually applicable.

The Nazi party used a propaganda campaign demonizing the Jews as their rallying cry, the justification and impetus for everything the leaders wanted to do.

ISIS uses their interpretation of Islam in the same way that the Nazis used their anti-semitic propaganda - and it wasn't hating Jews that made the Nazis popular - it was that they promised a utopia.

I'll have to give this response a little thought. You deserve more than a kneejerk response. I must congratulate you, Doc. You've actually managed to make me stop and think! :D

Aha! So, just like the Nazis, they are simply deceiving their followers. Making promises they never intend to keep. Manipulation of emotion. Dictation of thought and perception. No real goal except power. If they ever achieve their goal, they will cast their followers aside.

Makes complete sense!

What inspires them to kill is called Koran. And Islam is a cancer in humanity. Any fool knows that.

What inspires them is believing that they know the Will Of God, the same as many other lunatics of other faiths. The solution is Liberalism, live and let live in this case.

What is wrong with this picture? We have an invading army reaching into America via social media and instructing their soldiers on how to kill us and we have a president and commander and chief that is afraid to go kick their ass.
He has once again proved how useless he is as a leader. Maybe he will switch on the rainbow lights on the White House tonight.
Thanks a lot libs for this disaster.
That Kenyan muslim socialist atheist should close the internet!

In the meantime, all this stuff wouldn't be happening if America wouldn't have interfered in the middle east in the first place. Goes back to something G. Washington said. Trade with other countries but don't meddle in their affairs. Not actually, America, but the oil companies going after whatever profit they could make, knowing that the US military would ultimately protect them.

I have to agree. Fools have foolish ideas.

If you care to know what I really think...I think Obama is celebrating this tragedy. He hates us and always has. He has a deep dislike for America, he can't even hide it any longer. His JV team is killing Americans on our home soil and he likes it. If he didn't like it he would take the fight to these bastards but he won't...they are on his team.
