obama

I went to school with Gerald Ford's son and have always thought President Ford as the beau ideal of a Republican politician, so I don't rate RR as good as president as many of my fellow Republicans do.

Reagan? I don't know he was a bad American, just not a great president.

Yep. Good enough to defeat and overcome the most insidious, wide-spread, deliberate campaign of lies and distortions about a sitting President in our history. Good enough to ram his signature piece of legislation (ACA) through a resistant Congress and to make Boehner et. al. look like chumps on just about every issue.

Yeah...I'd say he's a pretty good politician, wouldn't you?

We'll see how much you love the ACA when the 21 new taxes totaling 1.6 TRILLION come due. Yeah, great politician....

ok.

obama is a very good speech reader, but a terrible president.

as to being a good politician, if you think the corruption of chicago is good politics, than obama is good at it.

Yes he is a good liar, succeeding in spreading his "dream"
but that does not make him a good president. He has failed in many more ways than succeeded AS PRESIDENT

right, he got ACA passed when his party controlled both houses of congress, it was passed in the middle of the night on Christmas eve before anyone had time to read it. No discussion was allowed, no GOP amendments were allowed to be debated or voted on. It was rammed up our collective asses on a strictly partisan vote---------if you think this kind of politics is good for the USA, you are very confused.

.

It's a tough call as to whether he's a great politician. Amazing on the stump, definitely. But more than anything else, he was very, very fortunate that he made his move to run for President against the current incarnation of the GOP.

.

you are correct about one thing, McCain/Palin was a terrible ticket..

If the GOP had run Romney/Ryan in 08, obama would probably still be rabble rousing on the south side of chicago.

well, we will never know, Obama is a great politician with a good instinct, controversial president, but I think his intentions are right

you think his intentions are right? is it right to lie to the people about taxes not going up? is it right to lie to the people about the impacts of obamacare? is it right to lie about closing gitmo? is it right to call deficit spending criminal when bush did it and call it the right thing when he does it?

his intentiions for this country are terrible, he wants to ignore the constittution and turn the US into a copy of failed european socialism.

he is a good politician but a terrible president.

Hey guys, one question, Barrack Obama a great politician or not??

He is a great politician. That's the problem. He doesn't know how to work or actually bring people together, except in speeches. He's still out campaigning, when he should be in Washington trying to help legislate.

With the Great Recession sweeping back all before it, R/R would have guaranteed Obama an overwhelming victory as Americans repelled the Republican conservatives as germs of death.
