The problem stems from whether members and aides set to enter the exchanges would have their health insurance premiums subsidized by their employer — in this case, the federal government. If not, aides and lawmakers in both parties fear that staffers — especially low-paid junior aides — could be hit with thousands of dollars in new health care costs, prompting them to seek jobs elsewhere. Older, more senior staffers could also retire or jump to the private sector rather than face a big financial penalty

People like Pelosi and Reid really irk me. They had to pass the bill before anyone could see what was in it. When they saw what was in it, they didn't like it and now want to exempt themselves. They figure the rest of us can pay the higher prices and suffer. Even though they just insured that they can continue with insider trading and can make tons of money, they don't want to "pay their fair share" for Obama's signature legislation.

Is everyone on the left okay knowing that they find the costs too high and are saving themselves from the hardship, while dumping this shit on the rest of the country to deal with? We could potentially end up in jail if we don't purchase government approved insurance. Of course, we'd definitely end up in jail for insider trading, which is one of their favorite money making schemes.

If Obamacare isn't good for them, it damn sure isn't good for the rest of us.
