He then went missing except for abusing the so-called "corona briefings" as campaign stops - until he embarrassed himself before the nation (minus Trumpletons), and the nation before the world praising the incredible merits of injecting disinfectants. While he was absent while guidance was necessary, he subverted guidance issued by the CDC and other authorities, who knew their stuff, the day after it was issued, and lauded armed louts protesting and violating his own administration's guidance. Then he stood by idly as States opened up again, in violation of his own administration's guidelines for opening up.

Overall, if he were in the latest stage of dementia, it's hard to see how it could have been worse, and now the country is heading right into the second surge of the first wave.

All that is catastrophic enough. Arguably worse is the condition of those who see Trump as the knight in shiny armor, saving them from... something.
