He pushed hydroxychloroquine as a miracle cure, and when that didn't work to inject people with disinfectant.

It was Trumps coronavirus task force that did anything about the situation. Trump closed down travel from China, and then washed his hands of it. He doesn't even do coronavirus press briefings any more.
