So an AR-15 is no more accurate than a pistol, and 30 round magazines for it are a waste of money? AND they’re gigantic and bulky compared to a pistol. So why do you rubes want them so bad?

What difference does it make why folks want them if they can't fire any faster than a pistol?

Most mass shootings are done at a range of no more than 20-30 feet so the accuracy of an AR-15 is irrelevant. Cruz could have accomplished the same thing with a pistol in roughly the same amount of time.
