The answer is actually pretty straightforward. There is no liquid water that is referenced in the article you have cut and pasted multiple times. That is due to the water being locked up in ancient oceanic crust that has subducted back into the mantle.

you assume that since this water exist it somehow proves that a worldwide flood happened within the time frame of recorded human history, and more than that you assume that the existence of the water proves that an unskilled craftsman built a wooden boat with only the help of his family larger than anyone since has been able to construct and then managed to load every species on the planet onto that boat - and somehow after he managed to scatter and isolate those species across the planet.

the question is where else would they claim the water came from? surely they had knowledge of underground water, so why wouldn't they claim it came from under the ground and that it returned there after?

i have no problem with the allegory of noah and his ark, unless you're an idiot trying to treat it as historical fact. i don't even have much of a problem with people dumbly believing that either, until they try to pretend that their belief in a literal interpretation of noah's flood has merit and that it should be taught to people as fact. then i have a big problem.
