Why do I not make sweetheart deals with my kids ?
Because I have been the victim of the effects, of "oh no, not my kid, my kid is a good boy, I been watching kid all day" kind of parenting.
My kids know, that the very minute after the neighbor leaves after complaining to me about the issues...
My kids ass is going to be black and blue for a week, and they're grounded for a month.
My kids know, that if I ever have to go to court for them, they're getting a public defender and they're serving their penalties.
If I ever have to go to a mediation for them, I am pleading guilty for them... They are spending some quality time with the not so hot nurses in Little rock getting not so TLC.
And when they get home, I'll beat their ass bloody.
So my kids are the last to go, and the first to know.
Why ?
Because I know first hand, what happens to other kids, when kids are considered innocent beyond their original birthday.
I told my kids, that a public defender is a person who is a lawyer, who was given a license to practice law... after they failed the test 7 times..
who are real dummies, who will not be able to get them off the hook.
and if they ever do anything illegal, that's the lawyer that I will provide them with.
