How to Determine Fair Market Value Employee WagesWell go ahead. Explain it if you can. How do you quantify market value of wages?Businesses have no purpose in paying people a wage they live off of? Are you insane? How else will they make money? The government? Hmmm.Profitable businesses pay market value for services. Profitable businesses are only obligated to generate profit. They are profit generators first. Their mission is not to employ, but to profit. Employing and paying high costs is hostile and contrary to the proper goal of a business---profit. You're welcome for the business lesson.Let me ask you this. Corporate profits are at an all time high as is worker productivity. Despite this, wages for the poor are way behind on the cost of living even if they work 40 hour weeks. Are you really going to tell me profitable businesses don’t pay more because they can’t afford it?
Don't blame businesses Their purpose is not to make sure poor people get paid.
We have a flooded market for unskilled labor. Our poor are forced to compete with illegal foreign labor who have no federal or state income tax liability.
Also, what does “market value” mean exactly when it comes to wages? Can you elaborate?
No kidding, you need "market value" explained?
