Planarian worm regenerates both the head and tail if cut in half

Check this out. This video shows a planarian worm being cut in half. Seven days later both the head and tail sections have regenerated creating two planarian worms genetically identical to the original worm.


Kinda old news, it's been known for 100 years.
 
We did that experiment in Junior High biology.

But, we tried it with homeless people and nothing ever grew back.
