Political Cartoons

I want to re-orient pop culture images and cartoons and make them political.

What's the difference between intention and interpretation, anyway?

Remember the iconic fright-fest American horror film icon Leatherface (who can forget him?), the cannibalistic chainsaw-wielding maniac from Tobe Hooper's groundbreaking eerie cult-favorite film "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (1974)? Well, these days, you have left-wing eco-liberals running around saying, "Well, I'm dressing up as Leatherface for Halloween, because, well, I'd rather use that chainsaw to rip up human beings than rip apart trees."

Everyone knows the beloved American kids' cartoon character Woody Woodpecker, the mischievous talking and wood-pecking bird who combined wit with wiliness.

As Woody Woodpecker pecks on trees, we can use the images to say something like, "This little wood-pecking bird is reminding civilization that trees have feelings too."

If anything can become political, then maybe humanity is simply dangerous.
