Tissue?And......after reading the story......it is clear that OP has taken liberties with the facts. What a shocker.
This woman didn't simply make the kids walk to school. She put them on a busy roadway and, according to he cops, had put them in danger.
Silly nutters.

The OP is physically and mentally incapable of being honest. It was a 3 1/2 mile walk apparently.

"Temperatures were cold, and traffic was beginning to become heavy with citizens heading to work," Ladd states. "Mrs. Palmer was in no position to reach her children safely in the event of an emergency."
"Palmer didn't have a valid driver's license and couldn't be allowed to drive the girls on to school. "
"Ladd said Douglas Palmer then grabbed at his waist, where the officer said he saw a fixed-blade knife in a sheath. A struggle ensued and the elder Palmer was disarmed and handcuffed."
"During a pat-down search and a search of the vehicle the two men were driving, the officers reportedly found drug paraphernalia in Douglas Palmer's pants pocket but no drugs. "
There might be more to this than meets the eye.

Not even hearsay. This is based on experience. I grew up in a small place, and one family, spread over two houses, caused all the problems. The parents were poor parents, the kids ran riot and the police found it difficult to do anything about it. Any chance they got to stick something on them, and they would.
