Since there seems to be some confusion on the board as to who is responsible for the actions each state takes, let's try to clear it up.

the 10th amendment should answer all your question,,,

This is one place the founding fathers screwed up. Clearly Trump should be calling the shots here, but the Constitution will allow blue state governors to obstruct Trump's plan to reopen the economy.
The founding fathers didn't screw up a bit. We are not it's subjects, to be subjected to the federal government's whim in the federal government's interests. That is why we have states rights and the doctrine of separation authority not granted to the Federal Government residing in the states and authority not residing the the states held by the people. This is not a totalitarian society. God Bless the Constitution of the United States of America.

Seems the Dems want to pin it on Trump but the fact is it is up t the Governor and now even some city and county mayor are deciding what to open and when in their cities and counties. They all want to protect their little fiefdoms

Neither.

"The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) now leads Federal operations on behalf of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, which oversees the whole-of-government response to the pandemic. As part of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will continue to provide their subject matter expertise as the Nation’s pre-eminent public health responders.

On March 13, 2020, President Trump took decisive, unprecedented action by declaring a nationwide emergency pursuant to Sec. 501(b) of the Stafford Act, making FEMA funding and coordination assistance available to every State, territory, and tribe across the Nation for the emergency protective measures they are undertaking to protect the American public. The nationwide emergency declaration increases Federal support to the White House Task Force as it leads the ongoing Federal response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

On the same day, President Trump exercised statutory authorities pursuant to the National Emergencies Act to declare a national emergency in response to COVID-19, giving healthcare providers on the front lines of this pandemic the flexibility they need to respond."

Those red states which reopen will enjoy the kick in the ass to their economy.

If blue state Governors refuse to follow suit, they alone will bear the blame for ramifications of not doing so...

The governors have some authority over their states. The president only has authority over federal property. The only effect a presidential declaration has is over the amount of money available to the governors.

Why don't you know this already?

Does the 10th give states the authority to violate your natural, GOD-GIVEN rights? I dont think so. They may get away with it, but they don't have that right.

Never said you did. But for those that think the state has that right, they need to think it thru a little more
