That being said, I know that when I was younger, I knew where my stepfathers stash of Playboy mags were, and every other male kid generally knew where their father kept the nudie mags. You don't need to go to a drugstore.

But, growing up, most minors who were boys in my school already knew where their fathers kept their porn stash. The way magazines are handled now seems fine to me. As for online porn, there are Parental Blocks that can be set up.

Funny story about that. When my kids were starting high school, my ex-wife bought them an HP computer & printer for doing papers and such. Of course, the internet was added as well. She called my that evening and was bitching about how hard it was to set up all the Parental Blocks. She spent several hours making the computer "safe" for teenagers. When she got up the next morning there were Post-It notes on the monitor listing all the passwords for all the blocks. The boys had hacked their own system and found them all. They didn't remove them. But they wanted to show their Mom what they could do. Now my boys are exceptionally intelligent and were working with computer systems at school. So this is not every kid's way around. But it was hilarious to me.

I told her a much simpler way. The computer was in the living room. So they could see what they were doing. I told my ex to take the modem into her room when she went to bed. Porn problem solved.
