What are the goals of Progressives?

Fairer taxation.

Higher wages for the middle class.

More benefits for workers.

Cleaner air, water, and land.

More jobs for the unemployed.

Education and training for the poor.

Background checks for all gun sales.

Protect the Right to Choose.

Decriminalization of marijuana.

Decriminalization of doctor assisted suicide for the terminally ill.



What is wrong with these goals?

Lol. Are you serious? There is nothing fair about the Progressive Income tax.

Why should we focus on creating higher wages for the middle class instead of for EVERYONE? And moreover, how does government interference in the market do that?

Why should the government determine benefits rather than letting an individual and his employer contract among themselves?

No one is trying to poising the air, water, or land.

If progressives care about more jobs for the unemployed why do they insist on policies that create more unemployed people and support government assistance that undermines any need for people to get employed?

How do progressive intend to force people to educate themselves or obtain training? Especially as they completely demolish the Public School system.

What right do you have to say I cannot own a weapon to defend myself when the Constitution and Natural law say otherwise. My background is no business of yours and should be no prerequisite me exercising my rights.

The right to choose? You mean the right to kill dont you? Because progressive are very much against choice in reference to every issue but abortion. Why don't you let us choose what school to go to? Why not let us choose what soft drink we can drink and how much of it we can drink? Why not let us choose whether we want to purchase health insurance or not?

And you aren't even pro choice when it comes to abortion either. Otherwise you wouldnt oppose people making informed choices by seeing the heartbeat of the child. You wouldn't be castigating anyone who doesn't agree with the choice you want them to make. Pro choice my @$$.

Decriminalization of marijuana? I can't imagine what is bad about encouraging drug use. Whether it's criminalized or not it's foolish to do drugs. How does encouraging it make our society better?

You want to decriminalize murder? And you don't see what's wrong with that goal?

Progressivism is a cancer in our society and we need to get it out of our lives first and then warn our neighbor.

Here's what the progressives really want:

Progressives want unlimited government.

Progressives want re-disribution of wealth.

Progressives hate the Founding Fathers, the principles of the Founding Fathers stand in their way.

The Founding Fathers supported slavery and secondclass citizenship for women.

Which is why they made a Constitution that had built in enticements to limit and eventually eliminate slavery. And why they allowed women to vote (The vote was taken from women later on when the Federalists/Democrats were fighting and the women were choosing the "wrong" side)

Progressives have been for the same things for 100 years. And we haven't gotten there. Tells me their methods are grossly flawed. Or else those really aren't their goals and their actual goals are:
Punish the rich
Enslave the poor
Control all property.

They seem pretty good at those.

Hate to be contrary, but you are wrong. They don't want to punish the rich. They want to punish the people who try to become rich. They already are rich so they dont need any uppity poor person working their way into wealth and power and thereby challenging their rightful place as our rulers.

We didn't. It was "progressives" that fostered desegregation. Who REsegregated the military? Progressive hero Woodrow Wilson. He also encouraged a resurgence of the KKK.

We didn't support slavery either. What part of "All men are Created Equal" is difficult to understand?

Only two little things, but the Devil is in the details.

1) Saying that something is your goal doesn't make it your ACTUAL goal.

2) The ends do NOT justify the means. People used to know this without being told, but apparently not any more. So before you come back and say, "What do you mean by that?" go look it up.

"Conservatives" are closet progressives, as they agree on 90% of the issues.

Republicans and Democrats are a Progressive Conglomerate, that has subjected us to one-party rule. The Republicans often do fascists twists on communist principles and programs that the Democrats put in, but that's about it.

It's two sides of the same Authoritarian Coin, Republicans hide behind National Socialism and Democrats hide behind Stalinism.

They also play rock-paper-scissors for the "good cop/bad cop" facade, on each issue. They ardently support individual rights on certain issues, but outright deny and disparage individuals rights in other scenarios. It'sa farce. Wake up little kid, you cant' stay in Neverland forever whilst the real world goes on.

Yes, you Progressives have been in control since 1913 --- unchallenged.
