I'm both a voting Canadian citizen, or at least eligible to vote, and an American citizen.

Then you should be made to choose one or the other. But if she were a voting citizen of Canada when Ted was born, he is not an American citizen.

Too bad we didn't have this discussion when Barry Hussein Sotoro Obama was running but you can count on the liberal media to cover for democrats with phonied up copies of a birth certificate. Nobody seemed to object when it was common knowledge that John McCain was born in Panama. Is their a special dispensation for Navy Admirals that isn't afforded to other American citizens?

although I cant stand McCain, never could, no clue what made the republicans think he was a good option,, But, he was born to a military family that was stationed on a U.S base at the time and that does give him a status as natural born citizen.
Although, I think its too bad in his case, had the republicans run a real candidate we might have been able to avoid the disaster of the last 8 years.

When it comes to Cruz, yeah, I have questions about his citizenship. I did not about Obama. I knew from the start when the far right wing joined with the Hillaryites back in 2012 on Obama, that it would never go away. This may be different with Cruz, and we shall see. If it is determined that he is eligible, I am fine with that, but it needs to be looked at more carefully.
