No, I see statements like this broad brushing all who don't agree with their politics on both sides. I was curious to find out if people really believe the rhetoric about 50% of their fellow citizens. I would argue that reality is, putting this sort of inflammatory broad brushing aside, there is more in common between the two sides in this country than not.

There is no more commonality between the sides. The left has gravitated so far toward Marxism, which is an ideology that is completely incompatible with both a democracy, and a constitutional republic. Conservatives have been trying to find common ground with the liberal left and the globalists for decades, and all it did was cost us elections and further destroy the country.

You can attribute the election of Donald Trump to making so many people aware of this. Some of us knew those things all along, but he was the one who made us painfully aware of of the direction this country was heading, and offered a way to restore America to its rightful place in the world. Unfortunately, even he didn't even know what he was up against, but he did give it a good try. So now this is what we ended up with - This a verifiable list of things which have occurred or are taking place during the presidency of Joe Biden..

• Promised on several occasions that he would "end fossil fuels"

• Later stated “We’re going to need oil for at least another decade”

• Gasoline that rose over two times the price it was in 2018

• Ended Keystone XL pipeline while waiving sanctions on Russia's Nord Stream 2

• Suspected US involvement in the bombing of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline

• The price of oil jumped up to $130 per barrel

• Drained US Strategic Oil Reserve to the lowest level since 1984

• Begged Saudi Arabia and Venezuela for oil
