I am reminded of the incident in which a police officer was attacked because he stopped one black girl from gutting another black girl. At least one black said that knife fights were no big deal. Absolutely correct, hence Woodwork's one line editorial and reason for posting the thread. Kid's (specifically minority or economically disadvantaged kid) get caught up in it, becoming injured or dead. I cannot understand a reasoning for lowering the penalties on the offenders instead of trying to get them off the streets as long as possible to protect the minorities and other disadvantage people in the neighborhoods that have that kind of crime.

The amendment is so that drive-by shootings will be subject the same penalties as any other shootings.
It is not a decriminalization.

Makes sense to me. Blacks just WANT to shoot each other, so much. You all know that's true. They want to shoot each other and have a warlord society like everywhere that is majority black. It could well be instinctive: wanting local strongmen.
