Reagan, worst prez in our lifetime

yes, it was solely Reagan and his bluff of the "star wars". Plus his FIRM stance in Reykjavik.
That is what brought the evil empire down.
Without him, the process of disintegration of the evil empire and eastern bloc would be much longer and bloodier.

More proof that the far left has to distract from the fact that Obama IS the worst president in history and that they need to start rewriting that history now.

The far left is no where close to being in touch with reality.

The idea that Obama is the worst president in history is comical. He has presided over a growing economy for the vast majority of his tenure. The reason that the growth in the economy has not been there has a lot to do with Republican obstruction, but it is deeper than that. There are some profound things happening that cannot be changed such as having 10,000 American workers retiring every single day. Baby boomers have stopped spending on consumer goods as they are stashing their money away for retirement, or they have already retired. Retirees don't need much outside of healthcare. The good lot of them have their homes paid for or the mortgage is now so low that it's not a substantial burden to them. They just don't need a whole lot.

The biggest problem is that those who actually spend money, those lower and middle income earners, have seen their income shrink. They have nothing left to spend. Despite all these negatives, the economy is still growing, so no, Obama is not even close to being the worst president.

What Black hawk fan? Carter is happy with Obama because now he is not considered the worst in history.

And star wars was not a bluff we have it today with lasers on 747's you do know that right?

Reagan was puppet for his handlers, particularly in his second term when he couldn't remember what he ate for breakfast.

Why the "American" Left Hates Reagan

Reagan had some faults.

Nixon had huge faults.

Clinton was a lecherous dishonest cock sucker.

Carter was an inept buffoon.

The Elder Bush was a bit of a lightweight RINO in some regards.

The Younger Bush had his faults, too, but was decidedly superior to Carter.

And Obumbler is the hands down worst President in the history of our Republic.

The thread headline is simply retarded, of course.

this is an example of the leftard upside down logic.

so if obama has had such a glowing economy all his 5 years reign, why unemployment is still over 7% ( in reality - much higher) and why there are no jobs, the inflation is skyrocketing and the income of the middle class family has FALLEN since he took office?

obama and his policies are the real reason why this economy is suffocating in stagnation ( unless you consider less than 2% to be a "growth") , no jobs are being created and the middle class has been burglarized for the benefit of the rich like never in the history of this country.

this all makes him the worst president in our lifetime. worst than carter even.
Not as bad as FDR, though.
YET.

well it was not that threatening at the time when the other side thought it was. And Gorbie ( God bless his heart, I love the man for his part of ruining the evil empire) took a bait
That was the bluff, not it's possibility.

That's why the Progs love Obama, he's destroying the USA in ways the Soviets and Jihadists only could dream about

yes, that is exactly right.
Prospering middle class is the worst nightmare of the left and their dream of taking over with the bloody regime of socialist utopia.

Anyone want to add anything?

Let's not forget that he palled around with communists.

And didn't he and Nancy practice numerology and astrology and therefore invite demonic forces into the White House instead of accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior?

It was not the.biggest bluff in the modern world when Khrushchev bluffed Kenndy saying he had mutiple IBM's when he only had like two monster rockets. That couldn't hit L.A. if they tried.

well, the bluff is successful when it is believed in.

Khrushchev tried, but was not believed.

Reagan succeeded. he was an actor, remember ;)

Which is GREAT.

You just made me smile I remember that. And now this dumb ass of a President getting his ass handed to him by Putin over Syria and then runs to Iran to save face? What an embarrassment to our great country.

Could you give us some undisputed evidence that ronnie boy defeated the USSR. He must be one hell of a fighting machine. I didn't even know we ever had a war declared against them.
Shit, we missed so much in history.
Or maybe it is because you are full of SHIT.

Here is what bothers me about reagan.
When Iranians over ran our embassy in Iran and took 52 Americans hostage they were committing an act of war against the United States. President Carter knew that if he responded and attacked Iran the hostages would immediately be put to death so he tried to broker a deal with the Iranians. The Iranians refused to deal with Carter.
However, while this was going on george h. w. bush made a secret trip to France where it was reported he met with Iranian officials.
As the hostage crisis dragged on campaigning for the next election in America was taking place. During the campaigning reagan used the crisis to his advantage and defeated Carter.
Here is where it starts to get crazy. On the day of reagan's inauguration the Iranians assembled all the hostages and loaded them on planes. Strangely, these planes were held on the ground while the inauguration was taking place in Washington. At the moment reagan took the oath of office the planes were released and started bringing the hostages home.
With the hostages being free and out of the hands of the Iranians reagan was free to take the action that Carter could not. So, what did reagan do about the fact that the Iranians had committed an act of war against the US? HE DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! That's right, he did not take a single action against a country that had attacked us.
What struck me as very strange was the planes with the hostages being held on the runways until reagan took the oath of office. It was almost like the Iranians were sending us a message that reagan/bush had arranged a deal behind Carter's back. The minute reagan became president the hostages were set free. Such a deal would have been an act of treason.
If a deal had been made between Iran and reagan it would go a long way to explaining the Iran-Contra scandal. The question that would have to be asked is why would reagan sell arms to a country that committed an act of war against us? I believe it was a part of the secret deal reagan made with Iran. In other words, to win the presidency reagan made a deal with Iran that if they released the hostages after he took the presidential oath he would take no military action against Iran and he would sell them American made arms.
If the above is true it would make reagan one of the biggest traitors in American history.
