Recording of trump pressuring Wayne County repubs not to certify 2020 election surfaces.

Pretending to be an elector is not “questioning electors”. Words have meaning.

Stealing a car is not questioning the ownership of a car.

Nothing was actually stolen, all the issues happened before certification, and the question of method needed a SC decision to sort it out. Nothing illegal happened.

This man is a danger to democracy. He has used Mafia type pressure to intimidate election officials in multiple states.
Trumpers expect their man to be doing this. They have no use for fair elections because bent elections are the only thing that gives them any power.

Designating oneself a presidential elector isn’t a question of method, it’s fraud.

Stealing a car isn’t a method that needs a court decision to sort out ownership. It’s just illegal.

There is no method for the fake electors to make themselves electors. None.

It's questioning the result of an election one thinks is fraudulent.

Non-equal comparison.

You are the one calling them fake electors.

Pretending to be a presidential elector is not "questioning the result".

They are fake electors. They pretended to be properly chosen electors when they are not.

It sure as hell is, and until certified they aren't committing any fraud as long as they indicate why they think they are an elector.

A person voting illegally isn not questioning their legal right to vote. They're committing voter fraud. The same with the fake electors. Trying to cast a presidential vote as an elector when they have no legal right to do so isn't questioning, it's fraud.

It doesn't matter why they think they're an elector if they know they're not electors. These assholes surely knew they weren't electors. Being delusional is not a defense.

It is not the same with electors. Before all this happened no one had any idea if the independent legislature theory was applicable. it took an SC verdict to figure that one out. Since ex post facto law is unconstitutional, they couldn't know what they were doing is legal fraud.

There was no fraud.

"It's not the same"? Says who?

We definitely know the independent legislature theory was applicable because the legislature NEVER MADE THEM ELECTORS IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Declaring yourself to be an electors is fraud. It's a false statement to gain personal benefit. That's the definition of fraud.

What personal benefit? They thought they were fixing a fraudulent election.

Do electors get paid?

It is when someone commits voter fraud and votes illegally.

The ability to vote is the benefit.

They weren't voting in an election, they were presenting themselves as alternative electors due to perceived fraud in said election.
