I say this as a religious person who believes in G-d. There is plenty wrong in The Bible. Even more wrong with the way some people interpret it.

Belief in The Bible as a literal document requires one to be very obtuse to what is happening in the world around them.

That being said, The Bible can have great value as metaphor and allegory.

The problem is.

1) You really didn't address my point. How do you know YOUR God is the right God? Because only 2 Billion out of 7 Billion humans worship him.

2) The bible is full of scientific inaccuracies and contradictions.

So what, that's silly. You can't prove magic "wrong". It's a sproven as it gets that there was no worldwide flood, or that a human body cannot come back to life 3 days after death. But you can just say "But it's magic!", and there's no real response to that besides "Nuh-uh!" Yes, I know. But we do know, for a fact, that adding carbon to our climatic carbon cycle will cause a warming driver and acidification of the oceans. These are known facts. This is "settled science".

Actually they do more than "claim," they have proved with a repeatable experiment that "energy can neither be created nor destroyed." It is called The First Law of Thermodynamics.
