It's obvious by now that these 'gaffs' are deliberate. Trump used them consistently during the campaign to keep the press off-balance and distracted. And it looks like he intends to keep it up as President. In and of itself, fucking with the press seems harmless enough. But we depend on an independent press to keep our leaders in check.
