Religious Freedom & ‘Gay Marriage’ Cannot Coexist

I do not at all understand the issue of respect. I respect certain individuals and I respect certain friendships. I cannot repect "gay" marriage because it goes against my religious beliefs in the God who designed the nature of male and female, and sanctified marriage in the first place. So this is the BOTTOM LINE. Someone's toes will be stepped on. No one has the right to be respected for everything they choose to do. That is not what freedom is all about. Freedom is doing what you wish but understanding that there are always ramifications and personal responsibilities. One cannot legislate respect. Respect is earned. Putting on a tux and strutting down an aisle certainly gave no one respectibility.
