the Press, and cited the statistics from the New York Times, that the nursing home deaths as a percentage of total fatalities, New York has less than half the national average, and ranks 46th in the nation. Meaning 45 other states did worse in nursing home deaths as a percentage of their totals.

In terms of percentages it appears he is correct. In terms of absolute numbers, he's still at the top of the list.

That and just about every other categoy has his state is is responsible for 1/4 of total deaths in the U.S.

If you have followed the timeline, you know that Cuomo, De Blazio (and his moronic advisors) were encouraging people to attend festivals and live life as normal long after the virus hit.

People were dying in New York at an accelerated rate and Cuomo has still not shut public parks. Duh.

Even when the got tough, the people of New York didn't comply until threatened.

Most of those infections came from people traveling from europe. New York is a travel center. Our latest case spike came from a teenage who had just gotten back from Florida, and spread it at their high school graduation.

Cases in New York have been going DOWN for the last month, while cases in other states have been going UP for the last month. States are running out of hospital beds, and New York has things under control, and is prepared to send them ventilators, and PPE and other assistance to help them.

New Yorks nursing home fatalities represented about 20% of New York's total. The national average is 42%, with several states at 60% or more.
