No, but since Trump had no ban on Europe at the time, it is easy to see why infections were everywhere in New York, and especially the city. So, responsible? No! Took the biggest hit for infections? Yes!Cuomo was just on Meetthere was no good reason for cuomo to send wuflu carriers into nursing homes except to kill as many elderly people as possible
the Press, and cited the statistics from the New York Times, that the nursing home deaths as a percentage of total fatalities, New York has less than half the national average, and ranks 46th in the nation. Meaning 45 other states did worse in nursing home deaths as a percentage of their totals.
In terms of percentages it appears he is correct. In terms of absolute numbers, he's still at the top of the list.
That and just about every other categoy has his state is is responsible for 1/4 of total deaths in the U.S.
He should not be taking any credit for any numbers anywhere.
If you have followed the timeline, you know that Cuomo, De Blazio (and his moronic advisors) were encouraging people to attend festivals and live life as normal long after the virus hit.
People were dying in New York at an accelerated rate and Cuomo has still not shut public parks. Duh.
Even when the got tough, the people of New York didn't comply until threatened.
So, your blame of Trump is just bullshit.
Other places did things differently and felt no effects.
