Rep. Cheney says it is 'it is absolutely clear that what President Trump was doing ... was unlawful'

What is this, a screen test for her new job at CNN? Pathetic.
I heard down at the Twist & Shout when I was enjoying an adult Beveridge that Liz and Red Jen are going to share offices... How can that be you say? Red Jen is negotiating with MSDNC & Liz is in bed with CNN... Rating is so bad for both entertainment companies that there is talk of a merger to combine ratings... Business is so bad at both companies, they can't even have a fire sale...

Why do lefties insist on acting as if they lost the election? The Country is falling apart with millions of illegal criminals crossing the border, there is a war in Europe, perverts are grooming our kids, energy prices are out of sight and inflation is in record territory but lefties are concerned about allegations against Trump. Sometimes you want to shake these people into reality.
Dem leadership of the country is a giant shit show so they are deflecting.

Rep. Liz Cheney said Sunday that the House select committee investigating the January 6th insurrection has "not made a decision" on criminal referrals to the Department of Justice, but she added it was "absolutely clear" that former President Donald Trump and a number of people around him knew their actions were "unlawful" but "did it anyway."

"I think what we have seen is a massive and well-organized and well-planned effort that used multiple tools to try to overturn an election," the Wyoming Republican told CNN's Jake Tapper on "State of the Union."

Cheney, who serves on the committee, also pushed back on a Sunday New York Times article which said the committee is split on whether to refer Trump for criminal contempt, saying "There's not really a dispute on the committee."

"The committee is working in a really collaborative way to discuss these issues as we are with all of the issues we're addressing and we'll continue to work together to do so," she said. "I wouldn't characterize there being a dispute on the committee. I think it is the single most collaborative committee on which I've ever served."

When asked about the committee's interview with Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump, Cheney said "her testimony was helpful," but did not provide further detail. Ivanka Trump voluntarily met with the committee for close to eight hours last week.

Does this committee have the balls to bring the proper charges or are they just blowing hot air.

I know most Trump Humpers are going to swear that Trump did nothing wrong and the actions of the right wingers on 1/6/21 was justfied.

Going to be interesting to see where this is going to go.

Trump isn't perfect. Nobody is. But he has THIS COUNTRIES best interests in mind.

What Trump did, no matter where it falls under the obvious sanctimonious "laws" the DNC follows, will NEVER, EVER in a MILLION YEARS come close to the EVIL, CORRUPTION, LIES, HYPOCRISY, RAPE of the CONstitution, anti-Americanism, war-mongering, theft, and blatant and CONSTANT NEGLECT of the ACTUAL laws of this country the DNC has been doing 24/7 since 1993!!!!

So why can't she get an indictment?

“That is the definition of an insurrection,” said Rep. Liz Cheney, the vice chair of the committee.

The House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol has enough evidence to refer former President Donald Trump for criminal charges, the vice chair of the panel, Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), said Sunday.

“It’s absolutely clear that what President Trump was doing, what a number of people around him were doing, that they knew it was unlawful. They did it anyway,” Cheney told CNN’s Jake Tapper on “State of the Union.”

She was responding to a New York Times report asserting that the committee leaders were divided over whether to criminally refer Trump to the Justice Department, despite concluding they had enough evidence to do so on charges of obstructing a congressional proceeding conspiring to defraud the American people. The report cited people involved in the discussions.

According to Cheney, the committee has not yet decided on whether to make a referral.

If they have enough evidence - they should do it. What do you think?

No she is lying as usual since there was no insurrection and Trump never told anyone to break into the Capital building he actually told them right at the end of his speech to protest peacefully as they walk to the Capital building.

The FBI stated LAST YEAR that they didn't find any provable acts of sedition to report.

Well, retardo, I saw the coup/insurrection on live TV. Didn't you?

I think she is a fucking swamp creature and anyone who believes a word that bitch utters, is a fool.

You don't even know what the word Insurrection means since there was no armed determination to overthrow a government at all it was a small, limited riot of a few people who were being stupid and one woman was shot because she tried to get past barricaded doors.

Coup according to Merrium-Webster:

"a sudden decisive exercise of force in politicsespecially : the violent overthrow or alteration of an existing government by a small group"

That never happened.....

DOJ hasn't charged anyone for Insurrection the FBI says there wasn't any provable insurrection to pursue.
