Republicans were SO wrong

And I have been predicting the likelihood of this since mid-January, 2014, right here in USMB. And I am a Democrat. Such a strong electoral history is hard to negate and people are creatures of habit.

I absolutely agree the people are "creatures of habit" and that alone would make me believe that the sitting president's party (more importantly - a lame duck) would lose in November. Makes perfect sense and is backed up by fact.

The thing that turns "belief" into "certainty" is Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and Barry himself.

Actions have consequences. It's time for Obama, Reid and Pelosi to be sent to the trash heap of history - and even THAT is too good for them.
And it's time for them to ADMIT they have screwed things up, and it isn't working rather than pointing the boney finger of indignation, demonizing the TRUTH. In any event? The truth is catching up to them, and it's gonna bite their asses hard.

The left won't admit to a damned thing. They counted on Barry being the "messiah" and instead, got a man in a clown suit. Everything in their miserable lives was heaped upon the success of this bullshit artist and he has proven to be a poseur, a provocateur and a amateur.

It will be nice when he is relegated back to some bullshit university to ply his goofy "theories" on the unsuspecting minds of 19 year old little girls.

Isn't it interesting that the Statists as Obama, the LEFT in particular prey upon the young?

Obama has ALWAYS been all about the "youth". He's not entirely stupid. He understand that the future of this country (or rather lack of a future) depends on molding the minds of children to the beliefs of socialism from Kindergarten to University. He, and his type, have taken over the education of our children while unsuspecting parents (who spend their time trying to put food on the table) choose to ignore the bullshit that our kids are
being "taught" by a unionized workforce who shouldn't be teaching a dog how to sit.

....when those of us who lived through the Jimmy Carter years thought that it couldn't possibly get any worse.

You mean the time when a man could raise a family buy a house, 2 cars and put his kids through college? Yes...that was horrible. You can't blame Obama for 30 years of Reaganomics.[/QUOTE]

Yes, you might be able to buy a house, if you had a job, and if you could handle the 10% interest rate on that mortgage. A whole lot of people could not buy a house or a car, and would have loved a job. Double digit unemployment, double digit interest rates, and almost double digit inflation. A great time in America. They called it stagflation, and Jimmy suggested that the good ole days were over in America. Tighten your belt, and live with it.
