The DNC has been looking to remove the ability for voters to pick a candidate for the past 3 elections.
To the point now - they have canceled debates and arranging the primary system to so heavily favor the DNC's own choice that the likelihood the voters choose someone else - is almost impossible.

And the number of Democrats who care? -- ZERO.

The DNC schemes apply no matter who the current President is.
Simple - the DNC elites chooses who runs for President, not the voters.

Each State still has open applications to appear on the Primary Ballot. If you meet the conditions and have enough signatures, your name will appear.
Win enough primaries, you will get the Democratic Nomination.

You do realize that a state-wide caucus/primary costs a party a shit-ton of money be it dem or gop don't you?

Why waste money on a gop field that should be no more than four deep at this point when that money could be better spent defeating the eventual dem nominee. Same with the dems.....RFK jr. stands 0 chance.

I mean if the DNC wants Tater then why should they even mess with a primary? If Tater LBJs himself out then they can have a open convention and pick a nominee.

The superdelegate thing was always a rig. While they have addressed that somewhat, they have just found other ways to rig elections. The left are master magicians who have honed and fine tuned their craft. They constantly wave one hand around accusing Republicans of rigging elections while their other hand actually is rigging elections.

I can always be wrong, but I do not believe the RNC has situated their chosen candidate to the extent of the DNC.
With the RNC it is (obviously) still very much a possibility that the voters choose the unapproved person. Trump was exactly that.
With the DNC, it is now virtually impossible for the voters to choose someone other than the approved candidate.
So in essence, all the Americans really get to choose from is one of two pre-approved candidates who are most definitely both corrupt.
