In other words, you define compassion by how much of other people's money you can spend. The GOP is a political party with many members, fyi. Conservatives want a smaller government and more opportunity for the private sector. The bigger the government gets the smaller the private sector gets. Wealth comes from the private sector, so the better it does, the better the country does.Conservatives define compassion by how few need help.

You don't know what the Tea Party supports.

The Tea Party grew out of a desire to stop wasteful spending in Washington. After TARP and the Stimulus the Tea Party was a grassroots organization made up of average Americans that saw what was going on in Washington and decided it was time to put a stop to it. They support smaller government, not the destruction of anything else. They would be happy if things went back to what they were before Obama's transformation of America began to take place. The Tea Party supports opportunity, while you seem to support the government takeover of companies, thus stifling opportunity.
