No - but they can empathize. Which is more than rich Republicans can manage.
Yeah, I know..."Anybody gone into Whole Foods lately and see what they charge for arugula?"

Here, this one is fun:
Mike Simpson Cardboard Cutout Mocked At Tea Party Town Hall
and here:
Tea Party Blasts Lawmakers for Fearing Town Hall Obamacare Fight
Take note---libertarians and the "free market" have no interest in the the middle or working class and definitely not for those at poverty level. The Tea Party works against the people and was created/funded by billionaires.
Bullshit.
That is just lib talking points once again. With some of you libs if you aren't lying you're not talking. That's a false populist stereotype meant to foment class-warfare. It's like screaming racism wherever a black is involved.

Is it? That's why the Tea Party supports privatizing social security-even though privatizing it in other countries has been an epoch failure. The Tea Party supports destruction of public institutions via privatization and there has been a long history of failure with privatization itself.
In other words, you define compassion by how much of other people's money you can spend. The GOP is a political party with many members, fyi. Conservatives want a smaller government and more opportunity for the private sector. The bigger the government gets the smaller the private sector gets. Wealth comes from the private sector, so the better it does, the better the country does.Conservatives define compassion by how few need help. The GOP wants to cut food stamps, health care, social security, unemplyment isurnacne.
Now given the above, pretending that he GOP cares about people is rather silly.
The GOP cares about rich people and doesn't pretend otherwise.
The Dems care about rich people too but they throw a bone to the rest of us occassionally.
There's the BIG differnce!
