router power on or off

I have a uverse connection with att.I will be gone for 2 months taking my laptop with. Should i leave my router power on ? Reason i ask,because several years ago i was gone for a month and my router went bad that time i shut router power off.

Unplug the TVs and anything that might draw minute amounts of power even when they're off.
It adds up.

Hey asshole, I did you a favor. Transformers can catch fire, including the one powering your precious router. Any pressurized hose or fitting can spring a leak, including the water heater and destroy your house. I just hope no one lives close to your dumb ass.
