The Presidential election was held in 2012 and it was overseen by the OSCE. It was rated positively overall with some irregularities at some polling stations but that happens in every country.

nat4900, lets get this straight. Yes, Russia did interfere in the 2016 election. They exposed the DNC's screw-over of Russia's preferred candidate, Bernie Sanders (Socialist in the Democratic party). That was as far as it went. Believe it or not, our presidents are elected, not by popularity, but by the Electoral College, which "openly" elected Trump. The votes which were signed by the Electoral College voters, were called out by the Speaker of the House and entered into the record. Because of the Electoral College and Electoral College alone, NOT Russia, the vote was for Trump. He is the "legally" elected president. The only qualifications to qualify for becoming a president is that he/she be 35 years of age, a natural-born U.S. citizen and have resided in the U.S. for 14 years. He/she doesn't have to have been a politician or have the slightest community service in his/her background.
To you lefties, your only real objection is that he wasn't a politician, believes in strong borders, not the free flow of people across borders, doesn't want heavier taxes to pay for massive socialist programs, is reducing government regulations that stifle businesses, and supports the many millions of firearms owners that are no threat to anyone.
What do the far-left democrats want? Government programs controlling everything, the end of free speech, except for that of the far-left, the idea of a New World Order whereby a One World Government rules everything, no borders and the open flow of people into the area (terrorists, murderers, rapists, thieves and con-men/women allowed since there would be no borders).
