RW: what specific policy ideas from your preferred candidate do you think will help the economy?

There is also fundamental you aren't understanding-
MINIMUM WAGE IS NOT INTENDED TO BE A COMFORTABLE LIVING WAGE. It is the entry level wage for low or unskilled labor.

If employers were not forced to pay a minimum wage they could pay better employees more. In other words, if you work harder and perform better you could move past the entry level wage if the employer were not forced to over pay under performers. If you are not afraid of competition you would want to do away with minimum wage so you could get paid what you are worth.

What will happen to the cost of a fast food cheese burger If you raise minimum wage to an artificial $15.
Christ it doesn't fucking matter what it is intended to be. A few bucks an hour more than any state minimum wage still leaves you in poverty. That's the point. Skilled labor means dick nowadays. Skilled jobs pay dick. Skilled jobs in general are extremely competitive. 1/4 of the labor force in this country make less than 10 per hour. Child poverty in the US is the worst out of any other developed country. Is any of this sinking in? You coming up with faux numbers about how many people are in college or high school is stupid, especially considering it is idiotic to think most or even half of high schoolers have jobs.

And let's pretend non skilled workers want to learn new skills. How the fuck are they supposed to pay for it? They are stranded in poverty.
They are stranded in poverty because of dumb ass Gov't policy that drives business away and rewards them with Free Trade when they leave..................open borders to get in illegals for cheap labor........

Manufacturing jobs have lost over 6 million jobs since Free Trade......potentially more..............depending on the source..................and these jobs were not MINIMUM WAGE JOBS................

Regulations and high tax rates................Only 2 countries in the world have a higher business rate..............Inversion anyone..................and yes there are loop holes...................Regulations cost large sums of money to stay here.........................

Add them all together and you have DETROIT...........
