Sandra Bullock needs a gun...stalker in house for 15 minutes...she hides in closet..begging for help

Cars caused over 2,300,000 injuries in 2012 and over 30,000 deaths.....

guns....17,000 injuries, and 6-700 deaths.....

get real......

Again guns disappear most people don't notice. Cars disappear and the country collapses. Not comparable.

You know....you guys want people to rely on luck, and the good will of home invaders to keep them safe........wow...what a strategy...you should write a book on that.....

You want people to be accidently shot. Over 17,000 accidental shootings each year.

You want 30,000 people to die...each year in cars.....only 6-700 die a year from accidental gun deaths....

Hmmmmmm....

Which number is bigger brain 30,000 or 6-700.......and that doesn't even count the injured in car accidents does it....

No I support air bags, drunk driving laws, drivers licenses, car registration....

And not one of those things stops drunk drivers...until they are caught in the act and arrested...but for guns...you think it will stop crime.....when it doesn't stop it for drunks.....

If there is an accident the air bags and seat belts just might save them.

They don't save over 30,000 people a year....and that is cars that have those safety features...and guns are the thing you focus on....when cars are far more dangerous, injuring over 2,300,000 people in 2012 and killing over 30,000 people....

vs.

gun accidents (according to your numbers) 17,0000 ....accidental gun deaths...6-700

Damn a perfectly legal chance to pop a cap in a dirt bags ass and she blew it.

She removed herself from danger. What's wrong with that?

Absolutely nothing...smart move on her part...and she got lucky...the guy didn't find her and he had no plans to kill her...at least right away....

But what if she wasn't lucky and he caught her where she couldn't get to that room.....what if she didn't have her cell phone and he had all the time in the world.....

Her in the safe room, with a cell phone......and a pistol....would be the best situation......just in case.....

Cars require licenses, registration, insurance... What is required of guns?

And again comparing the number of people dead is completely foolish. Cars are used by almost everyone daily, guns are not needed by most people their entire life.

1.6 million people who are raped, robbed, stabbed, beaten, tortured and murdered will kind of notice......if guns disappeared....

We don't need what ifs. She didn't have a gun and she is fine. Sorry that bothers you.

She didn't...she saw him first and ran to her closet.....called the police...it took them 15 minutes to get to her......

The entire situation was over in 15 minutes. She removed herself from danger, called the police, and the police apprehended the guy.

and they still don't prevent over 2,300,000 injuries in 2012 and over 30,000 deaths....

Guns...same thing...background checks do not stop 8-9,000 gun murders a year...because criminals don't do them....they break the law....

Lucky her......not everyone gets that lucky.....

Do you think she bought a gun this week or hired men to carry guns for her....Gavin Debecker...where are you.....?

1.6 million people who are raped, robbed, stabbed, beaten, tortured and murdered will kind of notice......if guns disappeared....

No the 1.6 million is a false number for many reasons. You can't possibly believe crime would go up by 1.6 million if guns disappeared. That number is from flawed surveys and the crime rate is 30% lower than when those were done. And well many surveys have much lower numbers than 1.6.

You can't be stupid enough to think there wouldn't be FAR more injuries and deaths with cars if we didn't have these laws.

Brain.....just because you don't like the number you say it is flawed....even though it comes from actual research...over 40 years....from both public and private researchers many of them anti gun...

And if defensive gun use is on average 1.6 million times a year...then yes...making guns do away means that many people are now victims, not survivors.......that's how it works....

Damn a perfectly legal chance to pop a cap in a dirt bags ass and she blew it.

How amusing -- to never grow out of that infantile cartoon where the world is made of "good guys" and "bad guys" and the only thing one needs to do is "pop 'em".

Life is so simple when you're three years old. Guess that's why some of us never move on from there.

Yeah....and 2,300,000 accidental injuries and over 30,000 dead are acceptable to you if a car does it....

but you become a gun grabber if 17,000 people have non fatal gun accidents and 6-700 accidental gun deaths....

you are the silly person driven by fear an paranoia...the numbers show that....

And you are stupid enough to think that the background checks criminals ignore by stealing guns and having people who can pass background checks buy them the guns, won't use the exact same techniques when you implement "universal Background checks" ...those new background checks will be voided the minute they go on line...except for law abiding citizens......

Well your 1.6 is flawed in Many ways. One you can't just average a bunch of studies. Several say 800k, making your 1.6 off by 100%. Your surveys are old from when crimes was much higher. Your surveys have been debunked several times over. Your number is just false any way you look at it.
