I wont be surprised if Scotland adapts sort of Christian- Democracy, something similar to Bavaria in Germany as a reaction to English secularism

the act was passed by a majority of the parliament on a bipartisan basis. Parliament expresses the will of the people. That is the nature Sf democracy.
Small rural communities have a diversity of opinions, much like every other community.. If they dont like the act then they can vote against it by electing representatives who oppose it.

But this is hypothetical. The english colonial govt has vetoed the act. Forbes is ok with that, Yousaf is prepared to fight for Scotland..
That is her religion not being in tune with the needs of the country.

You can look at a whole host of measures where this might be problematical. Support for single parents being one. She doesnt believe in sex out of marriage. Will single people be able to access healthcare ?

Will hotels stop unmarried couples sharing a room ? Who knows hat lunacy a theocracy will usher in.

That is what is funny about US criticism of Mayor Khan. He is a western liberal socialist not a taliban chieftain.
