senator Ted Budd called the infrastructure law 'a liberal Trojan horse for a socialist agenda.'

Thats kind of bullshit really...

You see giving to church has been put down charity. Liberals wouldn't consider that pseudo political organisation..

A good chunk of Churches in US are not about Christianity but about tribalism.....

Liberals must be doing something right because Blue States have wealthier and higher quality living that Red States...

Economically Blue States kick Red States ass..
Liberals show tremendous compassion in pushing for generous government spending to help the neediest people at home and abroad. Yet when it comes to individual contributions to charitable causes, liberals are cheapskates.

Arthur Brooks, the author of a book on donors to charity, “Who Really Cares,” cites data that households headed by conservatives give 30 percent more to charity than households headed by liberals. A study by Google found an even greater disproportion: Average annual contributions reported by conservatives were almost double those of liberals.

Sound like he is talking about churches?

Bullshit...

Highest Poverty Rates in US are in Red States...

What did you expect... The GOP mantra is to blame the poor for being poor...

You can try and justify it all you like but Blue States over time are more successful... This is backed up by looking at other countries, social democratic countries are the wealthiest, highest developed and higher quality of life..
Blue States would be high enough (not at the top) but they are dragged down by Red States...

It would take a while to explain why this happens but it is economically expected... But the short answer is, if you don't invest in society, don't expect a good society...
Yes but the poverty is in large blue cities!

And if the exact same bill with no changes have come When trump was president He would support it.

That's the problem with american politics today, Both sides condemn anything the other side does even if they would support it if it were done by their side. It's less about making sure the other side does nothing wrong and more about making sure the other side gets no credit for anything good.

I mean, the republicans literally spoke out against abill. To give 911 1st responders, free health care for illnesses. They received port from their work at ground zero. They did this specifically to prevent the democrats.Who were the ones who introduced the bill from getting any credit for it. This is just more of that same bs. And democrats do the same thing. Which is why we need to completely abolish all political parties and ban them

Sadly it's not "both sides" who condemn everything the other side does. Democrats have been more than willing to vote for things to help the American people. Republicans voted against giving any assistance to Flint Michigan over their water crisis while Obama was in office, but quickly approved aid when Trump was elected.

A lot of blame lies at the feet of voters who call any Republicans who vote for Bills proposed by Democrats, RINO's, and they "primary" them for it.

That book has been completely debunked. That vast majority of the "charities" Republicans are donating to are their local churches.

"The answer, according to the report, is that people in Republican-leaning states give somewhat more, mostly because of religious ties. The Chronicle studied individual tax returns and studied demographic characteristics such as religion and political affiliation. The report found that states that were in favor of the 2008 presidential candidate John McCain gave higher percentages of discretionary income toward charities."

The "most generous" donors living in Utah where Mormons tithe 10% of their income to their church. But the Mormon church has been called out for having BILLIONS in trust funds because of the giving. The money isn''t being used for "charity" for anyone.

The harsh reality is that donating to your church is NOT donating to "charity". Little of the money donated to your local church is going for "charity" for the poor. Our congregation's donations didn't cover the operating expenses for the building or the minister's stipend. Our "trust funds" covered the shortfall. The heating bill alone for our building was over $50,000 per year.

But nice try.

"President Biden: Your senator Ted Budd called the infrastructure law ‘a liberal Trojan horse for a socialist agenda.’ I don't know about you, but I don't think ensuring kids can drink clean water to avoid brain damage is a socialist agenda. I think it's just plain decency. But as you might guess, the senator hasn't been shy. He's asked on 10 separate occasions for new funding in those very laws. As they say, God bless the boy. I didn't think the senator was a socialist. But that's okay, I promised to be a president for all Americans. So, senator I'll see you at the groundbreaking"
Everybody's president comes through for us all, why republicans wallow in hypocrisy and double standards.

LOL and the other 98% of the so called infrastructure bill that ARE pure liberal agenda? Yeah you got nothing on that. :itsok:

So now roads, bridges, clean air and water are part of a "socialist agenda". How to tell us your dumber than a sack of hammers without saying it.

Your problem is that Republicans have turned the USA into the "shithole country of the First World", by failing to invest in or repair roads, bridges, or your power grid.

The USA is losing investment and job creation to countries with better infrastructure, and nationwide WIFI.

You.

Exhibit #1

Don't let your blood pressure run up. You might have a stroke. Not that it could affect your non-existent brain.
YOu don't know what the word "tantrum" means, do you.
