The Great God Boo

Buddhist clerics in Sri Lanka reportedly have launched a terror rampage against Christians that has included attacks ranging from verbal threats to beatings and church burnings.

And Christians say Sri Lankan authorities have done little or nothing to protect them.

“The monks have threatened the communities; they’ve threatened to kill church leaders if they don’t shut down the churches,” Dobbs said.

Now it's Buddhists behaving badly
Authorities blamed for doing little to protect Christians from church burnings

Now it?s Buddhists behaving badly

I went to Sri Lanka in my long ago youth when it was called Ceylon. It was a God-awful place then. Every time my family watched that TV show Columbo, I thought “How good can a detective be with that name?” I can only image what it’s like now that it is the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. That's a name that warms the hearts of every double-talking American Socialist. It advocates democratic ideals implemented by Socialists in a Republic. How’s that been working out for used-to-be-free Americans?

Jokes aside. Am I the only one that knows government and religion will always plague mankind? Throughout history man’s goal has been to limit government and keep religion voluntary. After thousands of years of mankind trying to develop a vaccine to fight the plagues America’s Founders came up with the cure. Unfortunately, their vaccine cannot be put in a hypodermic needle. Result: Politicians and priests are the carriers spreading both plagues like wildfire just as rats were the carriers of the bubonic plague.

The exact opposite of limited government, and voluntary religion, is taking place worldwide. Governments are growing faster than Topsy, and organized religions are proselytizing with bombs, torches, and blunt instruments. If I’m interpreting events correctly the two plagues are hellbent on sharing a one government, one God, world. Sharing is the correct definition because religions are fighting religions instead of fighting governments, while there is less conflict between government and religion than there is between government and the press.

Oh well, it’s no surprise to me. Let me quote myself:

A one government world is the evolutionary consequence of a one God universe. The problem with a one government world is that it will probably be a socialist/communist totalitarian government, or an equally totalitarian Supreme Deity theocracy.

To JoeB131: Thank you for maintaining the average. Not less than 90 percent of liberals who respond to my messages attack me personally. I’ll think I’m doing something wrong when the average drops below 90 percent.

90% attack you because you are a crazy loon who posts bizarre things.

What I never see. Other conservatives rushing to your defense.

Every wonder why?

I was wrong. Do not send for the Dalai Lama:

Members of a Buddhist sect known as Shugden Buddhism are accusing the Dalai Lama of religious persecution and have announced plans to stage protest rallies when the Buddhist religious leader visits several U.S. cities soon.

“The Dalai Lama talks about freedom and democracy, but he’s really pulled the wool over many people’s eyes. He is the one who instigated the ban and forced the Tibetan government in exile to criminalize Shugden in the constitution,” Fettig told WND.
