Share The Wealth platform.

You are advocating thievery.

That's exactly what capitalism is. Stealing labor to get things made and not paying the workers for it. We can split hairs all night long.
So you need a rationalization to be a thief, but you don't have the guts to rob people face-to-face.

No wonder you want government doing your thievery for you.

Those are the type of idiots the left loves....The dumber the better :cuckoo:

Want roads = pay taxes
Want police = Pay taxes
Want powerful military = pay taxes
Want first world science and meteorological weather warnings?= Pay taxes
Want your children educated = pay taxes!

Civilization is all about sharing and working together at some point or another.

The key planks of the Share The Wealth platform included:
No person would be allowed to accumulate a personal net worth of more than 300 times the average family fortune, which would limit personal assets to between $5 million and $8 million. A graduated capital levy tax would be assessed on all persons with a net worth exceeding $1 million.

Annual incomes would be limited to $1 million and inheritances would be capped at $5 million.

Every family was to be furnished with a homestead allowance of not less than one-third the average family wealth of the country. Every family was to be guaranteed an annual family income of at least $2,000 to $2,500, or not less than one-third of the average annual family income in the United States. Yearly income, however, cannot exceed more than 300 times the size of the average family income.

An old-age pension would be made available for all persons over 60.

To balance agricultural production, the government would preserve/store surplus goods, abolishing the practice of destroying surplus food and other necessities due to lack of purchasing power.

Veterans would be paid what they were owed (a pension and healthcare benefits).

Free education and training for all students to have equal opportunities in all schools, colleges, universities, and other institutions for training in the professions and vocations of life.

The raising of revenue and taxes for the support of this program was to come from the reduction of swollen fortunes from the top, as well as for the support of public works to give employment whenever there may be any slackening necessary in private enterprise.[2]

Man I wish Huey Long had not been assassinated. Wonder where the country would have been under him and not Roosevelt...might not have ever even entered ww2.

What do you think will happen when you limit income? Make it any amount, a million,5 million, any amount. When people hit the limit they quit producing. You really think they'll keep working and give it to you? Are you going to mandate they keep working? That'll work. They'll be overjoyed to keep working while you and the welfare class sit home playing their video games on their big screens earning their FAIR share.

Pull your head out.

The pilgrims tried this 400 years ago and it didn't work.

They tried it for a year or two until their homes and farms were settled and, yes, it did work.
Will this work a nation such as the US is now is up for debate.
No, it didn't work. The Plymouth Colony settlers abandoned agrarian communism in favor of private agriculture because they wanted to survive.

Communism?

You have been tragically misinformed, lad.

Half the people at that plantation were indentured servants.

The man who produces more than a man who produces nothing should enjoy ALL of the fruits of his labor. Income should always be associated with effort, production, and ability. Sorry to say it but a one-armed man shouldn't be awarded a trophy for rope-climbing unless he can climb the rope.

You're correct to a limited degree but when our taxes end up paying for a crack whore's cellphone or 25 illegitimate kids then a serious line has been crossed. Taxes shouldn't pay for a worthless Senator's pay raise when he's already making 6 figures. Taxes shouldn't pay for a woman to have a routine abortion 3 or 4 times a year. Taxes shouldn't cover research on the sex life of some South American tree frog. Well ... you get the point.

one poor person is another man's rich guy. who the eff is the Left to dictate how much money or wealth is enough or too much?

in every leftist society the richest people were/are the Party members; the ones shouting the loudest about "inequality" and pointing their fingers at others.

idiots and hypocrites

uh how is it stealing if nobody is forced to perform labor for you? it sounds like your real issues are with the government but like most you think that it is actually your salvation

Indeed. But in leftist land they believe that one should get a trophy just for showing up.

You just loop the rope around the bottom of one of your legs once and place the rope between your shoes. With the one hand hold your weight without pulling up. Lift both legs letting the rope feed through your feet then hold feet together and "stand-up" moving a foot higher up the rope. Slide hand up one foot, and repeat.

What do you think of the "Kill the proponents of the Share The Wealth platform."?

Any person who proposes to steal, loot or plunder the wealth of their neighbor will be immediately shot between the eyes.

You're thinking like a Republican. A democrat would demand all Republicans lift him up and then tell him he did it on his own.

I am not advocating communism..
You are advocating thievery.

That's exactly what capitalism is. Stealing labor to get things made and not paying the workers for it. We can split hairs all night long.

"Stealing" means taking something belonging to someone else without their permission. Every employee in a corporation has given his permission for the corporation to use his labor. It's not stealing.

Taxation, on the other hand, clearly is theft.

You can get all those things without government or paying taxes. Your premise is wrong. It's not about sharing. It's about the specialization of labor. "Sharing" is a left-wing euphemism for "theft."

The land was owned and farmed communally. So, yes, it was a form of communism.

Working to make shit for rich people who don't give you your fair share. So its just merely taking what's owed to you.

How is it owed to you?

If a rich man builds a factory, buys materials with which to make something, and hires workers to work producing it, he has spent a huge sum to start his business. He has taken enormous risk. The line worker has spent days working.

To claim that the owner and the line worker both deserve equal shares is ludicrous.

The hilarious thing about this, is the worker would have quit in a free society if he thought he was worth more to that employer.. But still, the worker signs the agreement and starts work at the job,,
Already went over this. Its blackmail. Either "sign a contract" for shit pay and barely squeak by or don't sign it and starve completely.

Are the workers producing for free? No, they are not.

You demand that those who risk the least get an equal share. That is theft.

If they learn skills that further their advancement, then they have received more than their pay.
They are not getting anywhere near an equal share of what they are producing. They deserve to. Capitalism is on its way out thank goodness!

Already went over the "permission" crap....its either starve on one hand or "sign a contract" and just barely get by and not quite starve but you aren't even close to having it good...literally living paycheck to paycheck and even then not having enough money to pay bills or put gas in the vehicle....while the rich bastards drive 100k cars and 5 million dollar yachts and take 10 million dollar vacations. We need a politician that's for the people by the people. Obama sure ain't it. He is for the corporations and lies to the people saying he is helping them,he does just enough to fool most people...
